Hotels near Cabo Frio airport

Pros: Well located Clean Smoke free Friendly Staff

Cons: Could have better towels The shower was not hot enough for my personal taste.

Pros: Perfect beach, all amenities we needed: air conditioning, swimming pool, sauna, bar and a restaurant. Loved the hammock and Jaccuzzi.

Cons: Needs more green like a big garden or something.

Pros: Everything was perfect. Very good service, people speaking english, helpful and very kind. Beautiful ocean view, and excellent breakfast buffet. Sea is only 50m from the hotel and it's really great beach

Pros: Across street from a very good, clean & uncrowded sand beach...Typical Brazilian breakfast not too bad.

Cons: Worst, most overpriced dump we ever stayed in. And we have stayed in over 250 hotels....not even the locks on the doors worked. "Ocean view" turned out to be a view of a construction project. absolutely nothing no restaurants ,etc in area. without a car you are sunk. Long walk to bus stop. No place to eat dinner.

Pros: Beach front location - really gorgeous; all amenities we needed: good size swimming pool, sauna, restaurant, bar, Internet, beach volley court; clean water is a huge difference - most of the pousadas here use stinky well water; air conditioners - you really need them in the summer; close to all the nightlife, but just far enough from the hassle to enjoy the quiet and private space; beautifully landscped, the only place that actually has palms on their beach; very nice, friendly and super helpful people; and did I mention the price - it is at least half the price of the competition!

Cons: We are not used to electric showers and the water does not get really hot as you might like in the winter. This is the standrd here in most of pousadas and homes in Brazil, though. However, Laguna was installing a solar water heating system for all rooms to go live in July-August. This should resolve this little inconvenience.
