Hotels near Belp airport

Pros: The location is brilliant! It's just 10 min walk from the train station. All the attractions and restaurants of Bern are within walking distance. The staff is quite attentive. The rooms are spatious, and the view from the room is good. It was quet and clean there.

Cons: There were technical problems with the TV receiver, which were not solved within 3 days of our stay there.

Pros: We loved the view from our room, the quietness of the place, the room was spacious and tastefully arranged, the location is excellent, staff was extremely nice

Cons: Not enough shampoo, bath gel and body lotion

Pros: This hotel merits its 5 star rating with top-notch staff, beautiful accommodations with lovely lake views and excellent location within easy walking distance of most major attractions.

Cons: The cost of the breakfast buffet is very expensive. Finding a place for a reasonably priced breakfast in the area was difficult.

Pros: My husband and I chose the hotel through internet and we hoped to find it as described. As soon as we entered, we could feel it was Ok - we were given a warm welcome by the staff, the hotel and the room had an extraordinary smell of cleanliness. The lavish morning breakfast rounded it all. The hotel boasts of a quiet area in a busy city. We would certainly choose it again on our next visit to Bern. Keep it up!

Cons: Thee was nothing we didn't like as we felt comfortable throughout our 6 day stay there.

Pros: Gabriella and Mark were the epitome of hospitality. They met us at the door, helped carry our heavy bags up the stairs and made sure we were well fed for dinner. We had arrived late and very hungry and Gabriella even offered to drive me to the town center to pick up food for my family. The suite, in which we stayed, was incredibly comfortable and private for our two young daughters and for us. Breakfast was yummy too. Also, for families, there were plenty of toys for the kids and a great washing machine and dryer to clean clothes. Would definitely book again.

Pros: If you need a place with parking and access to the city center, this is a convenient choice. It's hardly 10 minutes away from the old Town of Bern via a bus that stops right outside.

Cons: It doesn't really have much of a hostel feel, at least in the wintertime if you are also looking for a social component.

Cons: the walls in bath were e little bit thin, so we could hear our neighbours; also you have to hang a sign "don't disturb", because anyway maid comes at 8.30 to clean your room

Pros: The location was great, a beautiful 10 min. walk to downtown Bern. The view of the mountains and Old Town Bern is amazing coming down the hill from the hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful with directions.

Cons: nobody refilled the gel-dispenser by the sink in one week . One day, getting into bed, I found a black long hair on my sheets and, since I am grey and short haired, I think it was from the cleaning lady; and it was rather groce

Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast included in room price. Price is good for Switzerland, which is generally expensive compared to most other countries.

Cons: Internet connection is very expensive. No direct phone line to room, which means people can't call you from outside after the reception closes at 11 pm.

Pros: Really good place to stay with.. Clean and nice environment. Restaurant in the hotel is really good. Reception is good.(one of your receptionist-Danilla she helped me a lot with a nice smile and prompt answers).. Overall I enjoyed the stay.

Pros: The very good breakfast, the easy check-in and check-out and the kindness of the breakfast assisting personnel.

Cons: 1 The noise from the garden restaurant. 2 Two of 3 lamps I could not switch on. 3 There was no space at the bathroom to put my toothbrush, deodorant and all other such things one need during a several days travel. 4 If the breakfast would not have been so excellent, the price would have been CHF 15.- too high. 5 At the main entrance there should be a small ramp beside the stairs for heavy baggage rolling.

Pros: Hotel Sternen Muri is a very nice hotel near to the beautifil Paul Klee Zentrum. We had a large room with very tasteful and comfortable furniture. Although arriving at a late hour we could still enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace. Very friendly service.

Cons: In the rooms at the front one hears the tram passing when windows are open. Breakfast was not well organised.

Pros: Location of hotel was outside city and a tram ride into the centre (Excellent timetable) provided good direct access without the need for a car. Good breakfast and helpful staff with excellent English. Easy access to motorway and leafy surroundings. Free internet access point

Cons: Restaurant closed during stay but hotel advised of that before we arrived and very few alternatives locally unless you took tram into Bern in the evening.

Pros: 1) Spacious, clean, quiet, & calm. 2) Good breakfast with nice view of the Swiss alps. 3) Free bus pass to get to, from, & around town. 4) WiFi worked fine.

Cons: 1) Double overpriced, as is everything in Switzerland. 2) Outside of town: end of a bus line and then a further walk. 3) No place to eat within walking distance. 4) Only one toilet shared by all male guests, thus often had to wait for a toilet. 5) Eco-showers require pushing the water button at least every minute to keep the water flowing.
