Set back from a busy road, beside a Hindu temple, the most obvious feature of the place is the profusion of comfortable chairs and the hundreds of books around the main area. Staff are helpful, though as usual in a small town it's easier if you have at least some words of malay. Room was sparsely-furnished by very clean and comfortable. If you're a vegetarian (I am) then you are better off heading into Arau and negotiating with any one of the many places that make nasi/mee goreng. They are all keen to cook you something.
