Book Budget hire cars in Brooklyn

• Where are the best pick-up locations for Budget car rentals in Brooklyn?

Budget has a few different branch locations in Brooklyn, including its popular branch located at Laguardia Airport (LGA). If your flight will not be landing at Laguardia Airport, but will instead be landing at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), you can also pick up your rental car from the Budget branch located there. In addition, there is a branch at Coney Island, which is conveniently located in the heart of Brooklyn and a nice option for those that are not arriving at one of the local airports.

• Am I able to pick the model of car from Budget in Brooklyn or will I be assigned a vehicle by the company?

When you book a car rental through Budget in Brooklyn, you will usually have the option to pick the specific car that you would like to book. However, this typically depends on availability at the time. If they have the specific model that you have requested available, they will provide you with this car. If the model is not available the company will then provide you with a similar model instead, which may be from a different auto manufacturer than the one that you had originally requested.

• Is it possible for me to have my rental car delivered directly to me?

Some people prefer for their rental car to be delivered to them at their home, hotel, or business, rather than going to a rental location in the city and picking it up themselves. However, Budget usually does not offer a delivery service. If you are in need of transportation between your selected rental branch and a secondary location, Budget offers a free pick-up service to bring you directly to and from their offices. To help ensure that there is enough availability for you to benefit from this service, you should contact Budget well in advance of the preferred date and time of your pick-up.

The associate failed to include the eToll pass I requested at the pickup location, and the car's interior was in poor condition, notably missing floor mats and featuring heavily stained seats.Reviewed 13 Aug 2026

They denied renting and did not accept the rental cover insurance that Kayak provided. I think I was duped by Kayak, Rental Cover and Enterprise where they charged me the insurance which the rental company did not accept and I did not get the car nor the refund on the insurance.Reviewed 4 Jul 2026

Absolutely the worst!! It took over 2 hours in line in a dark underground parking lot in 90 degree heat to get the car and I was informed this wasn't out of the ordinary. My 1 year old and I had to go down 3 more levels into an even darker corner of the lot to actually get the car. We waited here for another 20 mins. Completely awful experience! No grade is worthy for this experience other than an "F"Reviewed 15 Jul 2025

The directions to pickup and drop off the car were confusing and the signage in the garage was poor. The check in process was slow, though I wisely arrived very early and didn't have to wait long. There were no complications with the reservation itself, though, and I got my car without too much trouble.Reviewed 8 Jul 2025

Waited a full hour in a line in a dark, dirty car garage to pick up rental. Definitely the worst pick-up experience ever and will avoid at all costs in the future.Reviewed 21 Oct 2024

It was clear vehicles are not cleaned or evaluated for road worthiness between rentals. First vehicle I rented had such a bad cigarette smell it was unbearable to sit in the vehicle. They had tried to put in air fresheners in the vehicle, but that only made the smell worse. In addition there was paint pen writing on all the windows, not sure the reason behind this. I had to ask the attendant to remove the paint on the windows otherwise it would have been unsafe to drive. I requested a vehicle change because this one was unsatisfactory. They didn't have any other vehicles in stock so I had to go to another location to change the vehicle for a new one. Once I drove 45 mins and picked up the second vehicle that new one immediately had issues. One of the tires had a slow leak and it cause met to have to stop 3 times to refill the tire on my way to my destination. Again this vehicle was unclean as well. One of the seats was covered in syrup. Overall a poor experience and I will not be renting from them again.Reviewed 13 Oct 2024

Got there and they didn’t have CARS! Not just didn’t have the car I had “reserved”. They had NO CARS AT ALL. So it completely threw a wrench at all my plans because I could get anything, had to scramble to try to make it on time to my friend’s wedding in PA (didn’t make it on time). Overall TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The lady from the office there didn’t seem to care not even a little. Didn’t provide options, call other offices to see if someone else had a car, nothing. I will of course never be trying to rent there again and maybe recommend this to somebody I really despise.Reviewed 23 Sept 2024

The location was easy to get to. The price was great. The car had just been washed when I picked it up- there was still water dripping from it. I was not warned about the extra deposit at pickup but it was refunded the day I returned the car.Reviewed 20 Oct 2023
