Worst rental car experience. Seems like they are looking to scam for any dent or scratch. I didn’t hit anything and they found a small dent in wheel area what was probably there before. I couldn’t even see it. The car already had scratches and other things from before. They are here to scam you would never used again.Reviewed 9 Jul 2024

Disappointed that the first thing I had to do was stop and put in screen wash !!! Scotland in December is NOT the time to drive without it and Green Motion are neglectful in not ensuring such safety checks !!!Reviewed 20 Dec 2023

I didn't ever receive my car.. When you sign up for the car it doesn't tell you that the £2500 deposit you need doesnt get returned for upto 2 months.. All this should be made aware before going to pick car up.. All in a rather embarrassing experienceReviewed 4 Dec 2023

Pros:Drop off was super easy. The person that handled the drop off/shuttle was super friendly and nice. They also picked us up from the airport, which is like a 2 minute drive so that was cool too. -The car was amazing! Massage drivers seat and a lot of fun features that I've never seen before.Cons:- Worth keeping in mind when looking around that you'll have to put down an above average deposit if you choose to go with your own credit card insurance (over 2,500gbp). If you choose to go with one of their options for insurance it will add a couple hundred to your bill. So if you think this is the more inexpensive option, you may be wrong with all the extras you'll have to get. -Make sure on pick up to take pictures of everything (even scratches and dents under 4cm or whatever they suggest) We were asked on drop off if we had a picture of a dent that we were told we didn't have to document on pickup. Luckily we had figured as much and had video/pics of it. -They had the tank filled just over half which I thought was odd, usually rental cars start with a full tank but that could just be my preference.Reviewed 11 May 2021

Pros:Nothing. I did not get the car at all. I paid $203 for full rental and they tried to charge me 700 pounds on pick up and charge more costs. Awful experience and awful car rental company. I eventually walked away from the car rental due to what they were trying to charge me in addition, when clearly the confirmation said 0 due at pick up.Cons:Stay away from Green Motion Car Rental at all costs. Awful experience, awful customer service. Downright lies spewed at pick up. Saying I needed a passport to rent car, but would waive requirement if I paid 300 pounds. Would not accept my credit card, but would take my Debit card for an extra charge per day. Very rude to me when all of this was questioned saying it was in the small print of their terms. Please remove this car rental company from your advertising.Reviewed 25 Dec 2019

Pros:Staff was helpful, but found many other issues having going though a 3rd party for reservation, requiring a very high hold on our CC.Cons:They gave me a truck instead of the car I reserved, given this when the tail gate support came off, I got charged for the dysfunction with the tailgate.Reviewed 29 Oct 2019
