Pros:The plane were nice and clean. most of the crew are very nice the entertainment are great so many different show that we can watch I like that they have noodle cup serving during the flight upon request in case passengers don't get hungry at the time they serve the main meals .
Cons:First of all The restroom are so tiny I just wish in the future that the airplan will have bigger restroom it though even 1 people to fit but I have kid and it though with baby ,toddler or overweight people. I usually travel with my son who's 3 I been flying many different airlines and I know in every airlines the most annoying is the tiny restroom I don't even want to go in there. 2nd of all Most of the cabin crew are very nice and very polite some aren't when you hit the service button you are expected someone that willing to help not the face like what the heck you want from me??? It's the long flight I understand and I'm exhausted too I just need to see someone willing to help and with a big smile not grumpy face. One last thing is the food. I'm not sure who's think about the menu for kids I'm not sure it is my son or the food But he never touch the food only thing he ate are the dinner roll I hope I can see some change for kid menu pick somethings that most kid like to eat maybe? Thank you Nadia M

Pros:* Good food twice, with readily available snacks upon request * Nice flight attendants who are ready to help * Big, nice, new-feeling plane, lots of bathrooms * Lots of information along the way * Diverse entertainment options, including some good non-blockbuster movie options from countries other than the US
Cons:* I couldn't get comfortable in the seat. I don't know why * They had us shut the window shades at a certain point and never had us reopen then, resulting in a 30-hour night for me that made me really uncomfortable (especially because every once in a while I'd get this wonderful burst of sun from a shade someone had opened and shut suddenly). * I didn't realize that I could just ask for refreshments whenever I wanted. I would have liked a flight attendant to tell me that from the beginning. * There were tons of disposables in use for meals. I brought my own silverware and water bottle to avoid using disposables, but it would be nice if they found some solution to that. * This is a small thing, but every time there was an announcement on the PA, the audio on my movie would drop back down to the default level (i.e., inaudible). I had to keep raising the volume and rewinding to catch up what I had missed.

Pros:The crew was very attentive directing us to other bathrooms as needed. Sitting at the bulkhead helped a lot
Cons:The baby meal is ideal for infants between 6 and 12 months of age

HKG-BKK
Pros:The crew did fine and the food was OK.
Cons:There was almost no information about what was happening with the delays. You need to do a better job of disseminating information. The food voucher was nice but it was all word of mouth among the passengers. To have a 5 hour delay is tough. You should have better charging facilities at your gates. You could only stand and charge and the plugs were all Hong Kong/English specific. Nothing universal about those plugs. I had to borrow an adapter to charge my laptop during the delay. The spicy fish dish tasted like it had been fouled during the delay. I like spicy fish generally but this tasted tainted.

Pros:Everyone that was part of the Cathay Pacific team was so friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating and quick to assist me outside the typical meal and drink service times. I flew economy and the seats were fairly comfortable. There were plenty of new films to choose from for entertainment as well.

EWR-HKG
Pros:It was only 3 seats across and lots of new movies (current) movies
Cons:OMG! There is zero leg room. The seats are hard. And the crying babies with parents who should have never reproduced made this flight help. We tried to get help from crew but they told the parents to quiet kid and t g end walked away

Overview of Cathay Pacific

Cathay Pacific is a global leader in transcontinental and controls operations from its hub in Hong Kong. It serves more than 45 countries and flies to every inhabited continent apart from South America. The airline appeals to a wide range of customers from across the world, with scheduled flights based around most major destinations.

In 1998 it partnered with Qantas, British Airways, American Airlines and Canadian Airlines to become founding members of the oneworld alliance. The association helps Cathay Pacific link to a broader global network, using their gateway destinations in North America and Europe to reach smaller cities. Customers can benefit from smoother transfers on connecting flights. Additional destinations are available in China through the carrier’s subsidiary Cathay Dragon.

To accommodate long-distance transcontinental routes, Cathay Pacific operates an entirely wide-body, dual-engine fleet. A combination of Airbus and Boeing aircraft are used. Following on from being the launch airline for the Boeing 777-300 series, it continues to be one of the largest operators of the aircraft in the world. Several of the fleet are decorated in a dark grey oneworld livery, while others feature the company’s logo on top of a dark green base.

There is a wide range of cabin class options that include Economy, Premium Economy, Business and First Class. Passengers in Premium Economy and above are supplied a glass of champagne upon boarding. Ergonomically designed seats in the Business section offer power outlets and adjustable lighting to make working on-the-go easy. In First Class you will find a flatbed that fully reclines and is fitted with a 500 thread duvet. An Aesop amenity kit ensures traveling won’t make you look tired.
