Horrible Customer ServicePros:Representative at the check in counter was rude and unwilling to explain additional charge that they claim were required. I had proof that I have insurance coverage through my credit card company but they refused to honor it. Car was filthy, radio didn't work and car was not given to me with a full tank. Prices not as advertisedPros:The car was fine and got us where we needed to go. The attendants on the lot at Pickup and Dropoff were friendly and courteous.Cons:The pricing was deceptive online. I chose them because they sounded of good value. I waived the insurance online because this was covered by my purchasing credit card. Once I arrived they informed me that insurance was not optional and could not be waived and thusly the price of the vehicle more than doubled. They said that it was in the rental agreement provided to me online - I could not find this in my pre-trip emails. Also, the company that charged my card was not Thrifty - not sure if they outsourced in Montego Bay - despite the Thrifty banner over the rental desk. To protect future customers, travel websites whom help facilitate these purchases should be aware of this and make this clear prior to purchasing to ensure that this is taken into account by the user. Also of note, the desk clerk tried to dissuade me from reading the rental contract saying that I would get a copy of it after signing.Reviewed 26 Nov 2017

Pros:Not much to like. This was the worst experience I have had with a rental car company.Cons:The fact that they would not acknowledge that my credit card provides insurance coverage. I was forced to buy insurance from them which increased the total cost for the rental. The car was not in the best condition. There were things broken on the inside. While driving, my brakes failed and did not return until after I pumped it for a while.Reviewed 24 Nov 2017

Consumer beware, Rental Price doubled, my reservation was not honored!Pros:I did not like anything about this rental. I felt that it was a scam at the pick up location in JamaicaCons:My reservaatin was not honored, the $322. price was changed to 532. with a $1000.00 hold on my credit card. The agent in Jamaica said the additional cost was because insurance e could not be waived, and the $1000.00 was a mandatory hold.Reviewed 21 Nov 2017
