Other than the rental price gouging during the holiday week, my experience with Hertz was great. The check-in process was pretty fast and my car was waiting outside the office. I chose the Manager's Choice option and was given a full-size sedan which drove great.Reviewed 28 Dec 2023

Because we prepaid via Kayak, we were unable to be refunded any amount when Hertz did not A) have the electronic vehicle we rented (and the only reason why we took the offer) B) discounted for the lack of cleanliness of replacement vehicle C) discount for the vehicle smelling like smoke and D) refunded the overcharge for my husband/ 2 driver. We've spent more time on the phone with Hertz, going back n' forth from rental location and their 1-800# than we spent driving the car. Never again will I use Kayak or Hertz. 3rd party "convenience" is a bad faith nightmare.Reviewed 4 Dec 2023
