Air condition was not good for dubai weather I've Booked online toyota yaris but they said it's not avalible so they gave me honda civic but i had to pay more! Also the value for the insurance will increase. Many scratches on the body of the car , and it was dirty! When I delivered the car they said there is a scratch on the body and i have to pay for fixing! I totally don't recommend to deal with this company10.0 Wonderful

I felt welcomed, and though I have heard over the years horror stories of renting cars abroad, my experience with Dollar at Dubai airport was excellent.Cons:
Returning the car, it wasn't clear where to park (unlike in every US airport, there's no obvious 'rental return' lot. I had to find a parking spot in close proximity to the office - but that is just Dubai normal. I just wish it was made clearer.10.0 Wonderful

We booked and had a confirmation email with the price for the rental for 8 days. When we arrived the person at the desk had all our reservation information but said the price was 4 times what our email said. When we showed him the confirmation stating the vehicle and the price, he said “I cannot do that price, this is my best price” and the amount was four times our confirmed reservation amount. We have since checked back to see if we misunderstood the email but no, they just offer one price online and then when you get there adjust the price and will not honor the confirmation from online. The worst part is when this was happening the guy behind us in line said “oh yeah they do that all the time, every time I rent with europcar they charge way more than when you originally book, it’s a huge scam” he said the only reason he uses them is because it is a company card so not his money. I would NEVER use them again. We had to scramble to find another company last minute and got a car from them for a more reasonable rate.2.0 Poor

I booked the vehicle in AED(local currency in Dubai) and I have an email confirmation for this, but when I got to the rental desk I was told the amount would need to be paid in dollars. So the reservation turned out almost 4 times the amount. Even though I had an email confirmation with the currency clearly written in AED, they would not honor it. They already had the slowest and most pathetic service I’ve ever experienced in my life, so I went ahead and just paid the amount to save my time. I went there with all the necessary documents. After some time waiting, they informed me that they didn't have the car I rented, nor any other car in the upgrade. Even though I have reserved the car way before AND paid for it AND called to confirm a day before, they did not have the car... I still didn't receive my refund by the way. They did offer a downgrade, but I couldn't send back home one of my kids with two bags!3.2 Poor

i booked through KAYAK and before one day i called hertz and make sure everyhting is good and they told everything is perfect after reaching on airport hertz counter told me rate error is their and we can't give you car in same rate and they charged me 3 times. they are ripping of customer by such scheme and on dubai airport hertz franchise give to some other company anf they did not honor hertz rates confirmation and rip you off so take care and don't book from hertz.Budget

We were vastly overcharged. Our rental stated the full cost. On arrival, Budget extorted additional fees and surcharges, items that were noted as zero on our confirmation. Budget tried to say it was Kayak's responsibility and Kayak said it was Budget's. Around and around I went. The increase in fees was 60%. Kayak was nice and said that they are not a travel agency but only a search engine and that the reservation was made directly with Budget. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. What a scam.3.2 Poor

- Check-in took extremely long - Car was dirty - Gas tank was 80% - 58692 km on the clock, which is a lot for a not so good car - Electronic key failed multiple times - Screen wash reservoir empty - Tires or wheels made a terrible whooping noise When returning the car the return agent complained heavily about the car being dirty, which was caused by the roads being very muddy due to the heavy rain that came in during the past days before our arrival. I did not wash the car before returning, because it was also not washed when I got it. He also immediately found a dent (very suspicious because the dent was invisible from standing next to the car, it almost looked as if he exactly knew where the dent was) underneath the car on the left side of which he tried to blame me because it was NOT on the damage form. I did for sure NOT bump on to something that might have caused this dent. If they rent out old cars with over 58000 km and then try to blame me for some not obvious damage, they should present clear detailed pictures of all sides including the bottom, with a creation date of 1 minute before pickup, so I can check all damages upfront. I never went on my knees to check the bottom of any rental car. When picking up the car they already missed a very obvious big bump in the hood, luckily, I saw that one at 02:00 at night with bad lighting, otherwise, based on the attitude of the people, I expect they would have tried to blame me for that one too. I normally rent with Hertz (gold member) and never had any problem and I now know why budget is cheaper. I MUST SAY THAT I HAVE NOT BEEN CHARGED YET BUT THE EXPERIENCE WAS ENOUGH TO MAKE ME MAD AND VERY SUSPECIOUS and if they really going to charge me for the damage, I will try to get my credit card company to go against them. IT WAS A VERY BAD AND OFFENDING EXPERIENCE!Payless

They tried to charge me an extra 50 USD just to drop off in AD when it was clearly included in the original booking, then they added 50 AED for airport pickup when again, the booking was originally front the airport. We arrived at DXB to find that the rental agency Payless no longer existed at DXB. The phone number provided by the booking service is not in service. We were stranded and our only options were to take taxis or book expensive last minute car rentals on the spot. We opted for taxis and public transportation as the other rental options were too expensive. We were surprised and let down. I know now not to rely on Kayak.Avis
