Small aircraft: no service on board... No entertraiment on board REALLY expensive for what you get

Pros: The flight back from Placencia was perfect. A small plane but well maintained and professional crew. Flight departed right on time. No problem with the luggage.

Cons: When I arrived into Belize City it was total chaos with Tropic Air. Checking in the luggage was just fine, but when I arrived to board my plane it was a big, confusing mess. I knew we were in trouble when the info board went totally blank. No clocks in waiting/boarding area. They kept delaying flights, and there was no way of knowing what flight was boarding. The announcements were so loud that it became distorted, and you couldn't really hear anything. Just a mess.

Pros: They exchanged my ticket for the next mornings flight

Cons: The plane left early from Belize City to Placencia and therefore I missed it. They gave no notice and I had to stay the night in Belize City because it was the last flight of the day- they did not compensate for the night in hotel

A little disorganized

Pros: They overbooked the flight and then had to remove people from the already boarded flight. This in turn made sorting luggage a problem, but in the end it all worked out.

Beautiful views

Pros: Tropic Air only has small aircrafts sitting around 10 people. The views as you fly are extraordinary!! The service was very efficient, getting boarded and unloaded was very quick with so few people. We landed at a small terminal in Cancun usually used for private jets so the staff and facilities there were excellent.

Cons: Only short flight so no food or entertainment required

Pros: Tropic Air only has small aircrafts sitting around 10 people. The views as you fly are extraordinary!! The service was very efficient, getting boarded and unloaded was very quick with so few people.

Cons: The check in staff didn't arrive until an hour before departure which had us a bit worried but once they arrived it was a very fast process.
