I think that everything could have been better. The woman who checked me in at the airport was awful. She did everything to make us miss the flight. She answered with unwillingness, already mentioning that l couldn’t board because of 2 minutes, and we were in the check-in line for more than 5 minutes. She only solved the problem after we started asking several questions about about her reason for not releasing the boarding pass to us. We had a very stressful boarding.
The staff was amazing but I wish the seats were more comfortable.
Its excellent for the price
Left on time, arrived early, easy boarding process, comfortable seats for a short flight. Can't beat the price.
Thank you so much
Liked thee timeliness Did not like that a passenger coughed the whole way Flight was smooth Staff was helpful I wish you at least gave out trays of water. That would help avoid dehydration
A sip of free sprite would’ve been the icing on the cake!👌🏽
The seats were comfortable. They need to have a better system to board.
On the mike they said if you can breathe it means your not wearing your mask properly
Our flight from Cincinnati to Miami was canceled, so we couldn't even use our return flight! Very frustrating.
Plane sat on tarmac waiting for a gate after we landed. Frontier is hubbed in Denver. There is no reason they can't figure out how to coordinate having a plane come into a different gate. They have more gates to choose from than any other airline at Denver.
I couldn't understand the person on the announcement for boarding. Boarding wasn't organized. Everyone was just in one long line waiting to board. The flight scheduled take off was 6:11pm, but actual take off was 7:25. It was explained as crew shortage. Seats were very uncomfortable. They didn't recline, cushioning was minimal and there were no foot rests. There were no complementary beverages or snacks. There was no social distancing. The plane was packed 3 in a row on both sides of the isle. Waiting for luggage was at least half an hour.
The seats and comfort level is zero. Seats dont decline and they even charge for water
Took over an hour for bags to arrive at baggage claim.
Making sure everything is okay with maintenance before boarding plane. Both to and from PHX, there was a maintenance issue that need to be resolved but they let us on the plane and we had to wait an additional 45 minutes plus completing paper work before taking off. Would have been more comfortable waiting in the gate area until issue completely resolved.
It was canceled, and because of that, I lost two days of work.
I never even booked this flight
Received email and text flight delayed. Then received another email it was less delayed, rushed to airport and the flight was severely delayed. Landed in Denver and still sitting on tarmac after 30 minutes waiting on a gate
My ludgate did not arrived. Hopefully it will come soon. Very upset about this.
Check in was chaotic. Delays because of late crew is unacceptable. Extreme turbulence was just icing on the cake
I liked that they communicated delays, but there was no rhyme or reason to boarding. Why give zone numbers and then ignore them
Stayed on the runway for an hour before gaining access to a terminal and letting passengers off.
Late departure but they were very good about notifying and they gave out food vouchers
Super uncomfortable seats that did not recline. The worst was we lost a whole day of our vacation bc Frontier changed our flights a couple months before our trip. Scam. We were supposed to be in San Juan by noon one day but did not arrive until morning the next day! And we could not change our VRBO so we paid for a $500 night that we did not use in Old San Juan. First time trying Frontier. Do not think we will again.
Federal mask mandate was a joke, no enforcement at all, just several repeated announcements. MANY passengers ignoring mandate.
Stood in line for almost 90 minutes to check 1 bag. Then the boarding process took about 90 minutes because of having to shuttle everyone to the plane across the cancun airport. It costs money to check a bag, money to pick your seats, and you have to pay for your snacks on the plane too. First and last time I will fly frontier.
I would have appreciated if there had been an agent anywhere that could actually help us. The skeleton crew available had an impossible job.
Apparently, Frontier in Austin flies out of another terminal. So although we arrived at the airport an hour and a half in advance of our flight, we needed to wait for a shuttle, and then shuttle over to the other terminal. When our family of six finally arrived, there was no one to check our two prepaid bags. Already checked in, I headed through security to the gate for help. The poor woman at the gate had an impossible job and could not help me until the plane had been boarded and left the gate. She assured me that she would get us on the next available flight when she had a minute. Unfortunately, the next available flight was over three days later after Christmas. We were forced to buy 6 last minute tickets with another airline (to the tune of a large mortgage payment) to get home for the holidays.
On board Frontier flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 60x40x25cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the Frontier assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
Frontier offers direct flights to 117 cities in 13 different countries. Philadelphia, Orlando, and Las Vegas are the most popular cities covered by Frontier.
Frontier concentrates most of its flight operations in Denver.

Focusing predominantly on domestic travel within the United States, Frontier flies to smaller regional locations as well as large cities. Controlling operations from a hub in Denver, the airline reaches more than 105 locations across the United States. Frontier operates as an ultra-low-cost carrier with competitive prices and direct single-leg trips. Fares are kept low by sacrificing luxuries, such as in-flight entertainment devices, while meals and drinks can be purchased as extras. It is a subsidiary of IndiGo Partners, which also controls JetSMART, Volaris, and Wizz Air. A codeshare agreement is held with carrier Volaris, expanding the possible connections between Mexico and the United States.
It is possible to sit in either Economy or Stretch (their version of Premium Economy). The chairs are not designed to recline, meaning the person in front of you won’t encroach on your space. Seats in the Stretch section have roughly an extra 5 in of legroom and a large pull-out tray that is ideal for working on a laptop.
Exclusively Airbus aircraft are chosen for the fleet, with Frontier preferring narrow-body jets like the A320 family. One of the most commonly flown models is the A320neo, which has tremendous fuel efficiency and can carry approximately 186 passengers. The planes have distinctive animals painted on the tails and are all unique images. Among the animals featured are rabbits, dolphins, bears, sea otters, and penguins. The names of the characters appear underneath the cockpit windows.
