On the flight Dollar emailed "Slelect your car now" and go straight to your car. The SLC pickup island was vacant. Walked all the way back to the rental counter and found a line of 25-30 people waiting and one associate. We just left. We won't be back.Reviewed 21 Oct 2024

I rented through Dollar because our group of EIGHT NEEDED a Ford Transit and that’s what I reserved. Alas, at pick up, we were STUCK with a KIA suv. Luggage was a huge hassle and getting into the rear of the vehicle, a challenge for our 70 year olds. I was thoroughly disappointed.Reviewed 21 Oct 2024

I was overcharged, the car was dirty and smelly and badly maintained. I also forgot a personal item in the car, and it’s impossible to have anyone help me. The customer service is horrible. I will never rent with them again.Reviewed 19 Oct 2024

We waited in line for 90+ minutes to get our car. Management didn't give us any information. It turns out they didn't have enough cars and fortunately, my family got the last one for several hours. No empathy or consideration for customers just standing in line.Reviewed 17 Oct 2024

Never again will I rent a car from Dollar. I reserved a compact car months early and they talked my husband into an “upgrade” without the charge because they didn’t have the car I reserved. The lady at the counter said the compact would be too small any way but turned out the truck was such an awful choice. We rented it to drive in Oregon. IT RAINS IN OREGON! So we had to keep all our luggage in the back seat along with my daughter who was crammed the entire time.Reviewed 16 Oct 2024

Although I confirmed ahead of my reservation time, and attempted to use the online checkin and pickup, I arrived to find a long line, one employee at the desk, and learned there was no inventory at the airport location. Rented an EIGHT seater for 2 families. Showed up and was told they don’t have any EIGHT seaters, only 7. Ended up renting 2 vehicles with another company paying triple because I couldn’t plan accordingly.Reviewed 15 Oct 2024
