Car rental companies that offer shuttle or pick-up services from College Station Easterwood Field airport to off-airport locations include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and National.
Pros:The agent in College Station was very friendly and helpful.
Cons:I would have much preferred Enterprise having someone at the Lexington airport.
Cons:After making a reservation through Kayak, I went to the Enterprise site directly and got my 2 day car rental for $12 less than through Kayak.
Pros:The rep, Blake, was helpful & knowlegeable & met me @ 8:30 this morning for return. Car was comfortable & enjoyable.
8.8 Very Good
Pros:Friendly, efficient staff. Our guy switched us to a nicer car because he smelled ciggarettes in the first one. Only downside was that the car might ha e been a little cleaner.
Cons:Car not as lean S might have been.
Cons:Car was not really clean but the people were great
Cons:Car smelled like smoke !!
8.8 Very Good
Pros:The staff was friendly when I arrived. However, I could not reached to them via phone when I needed to ask a question. They just do not respond to the phone.
Cons:I was supposed to pay 32.59 as a total charge at the dropp off. However, the dropoff clerk charged me $42.60 despite the fact that the tank was full. When I talked to her, she said she has done it by mistake and the money will be returned back to me. I still could not get my money back.
Pros:Staff was great, quick and efficient pickup. Car was clean and in great shape. Really easy and no downside.
Pros:Nothing. This store was closed and my reservations was not valid.
Cons:It could have been legit.
Pros:I was not able to get a car because I was told I got there late. But the reservation was paid in advance. Then, they try to get me in a more expensive car.
Cons:Worst customer service i have ever received. Associates were rude, unwilling to cooperate, and disrespectful. I will never be using this company or this location again.
Cons:I have now been in this Hertz office three times. This is the slowest most unhelpful rental car office I've ever been in. It is busy, but mostly because it backs up with only two very slow people working there. Very frustrating dealing with the people in this office. Don't even try to call, you'll get put on indefinite hold or they won't answer at all.
Pros:Good daily rate, clean cars, easy drop off.
Cons:This place is very busy. Expect a few people in front of you, don't expect the phones to be answered, and don't expect to get the car you reserved. Specifically asked when I picked the car up if I could extend my rental if my car wasn't ready at the shop. They said yes, as long as it was within 12 hours. I called 24 hours beforehand and they wanted to charge me a fee for changing my reservation! I was very put off that this fee wasn't mentioned when I asked about this specific situation. Also, felt very pressured to buy their insurance, which I didn't appreciate. Said multiple times I was covered both by my regular insurance as well as my credit card, but they kept asking about it.
Cons:I had to stop and ask an employee where to park because there were not any Alamo signs in the parking lot. I was informed that Alamo was part of the Enterprise/National family of companies. My recommendation is to have signs of all three companies over the parking spots in the return lot at the College Station airport.
Pros:The car was a premium because that is all they had. We were happy you could accommodate us especially with the hurricane.
