Cons: HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE...CHOOSE ANY PLACE BUT HERE!!!!!!!!! Dropped off by shuttle from Hartford Bradley airport. 12 people in line in front of me, was told most have been waiting over an hour. Cars were available, two employees working the counter but utter and complete incompetency caused me to wait on line for over 85 minutes for a car. Just this year I have rented cars 8 other times so I think I know how these things should go. There were cars available the delay was 100% from having just a horrible grossly incompetent staff.
When a third person tried to help one of the two women working the counter yelled at him that "they had a system'. That same woman, instead of apologizing to customers about the wait was complaining to them about how hard she had it!!!! When another employee finally stepped in to help he did not assist the next person in line angering the poor guy who was next. Another guy asked for a full sized car, he went out to pick up the car they assigned to him and it was a tiny Kia. He came back in and they made him wait an additional 20 minutes to redo his paperwork for a correct sized car.
When I finally did get my car, I was told they were 'pre inspected' so they would not give me a form to write down any scratches and dings on the car at the time of rental. Nor did anyone even offer to do a walk around with the car... they just handed me the key and told me what spot it was in. The car was covered in marks so I wrote them down on the back of my contract and had to interrupt a woman to sign the paper.
In case you think I am making any of this up or exaggerating, I have photos of the line and the clock on wall the time I got there and the time I left. No 'deal' is worth this horrible service.

Employees are rude
Pros: The car handled well and was comfortable despite its small size.
Cons: The employees were rude. The woman checking in cars on my return day was down right foul. Could not muster even the slightest shred of politeness. The shuttle driver on my return was the only one who possessed any customer service skills whatsoever.
The car also smelled like food when I picked it up, which was disgusting.
It's a good thing their rates are cheap.

Pros: Most of all the price - renting a car for 10 days at most of the other rentals was as much as $650 . Dollar was less than half the price. The car was clean, in good repair & got me where I needed to go with no worries. Thanks!

Pros: Check in was really easy and efficient.
Cons: I asked for a fast pass for tools. There was one in glove compartment that wouldn't attach to windshield so it was useless.

Pros: There was no knowlege of the class of vehiche I was renting until I got to the counter.
It cost me $25.00 more per day to get a Ford Focus!!

Cons: There was an issue with my credit card and they wouldn't take my debit card.I felt abandoned in the middle of nowhere. The agent did not show any type of concerns.

Easy summer rental for a good price
Pros: We rented a Chevy Tahoe for 6 of us and it worked out great. The summer prices are a bit higher, but it was a good deal for 3 days.

Pros: Pick up and drop off were great. The staff was nice. The price was the cheapest.
Cons: The intermediate size car I reserved was a Toyota Corolla. It had a very small back seat. It had 44,000 miles on it. After driving 1 hour to my destination, the tire pressure light came on and I had to take the car to get air in the tires. Being a woman traveling alone, I don't prefer to have to do maintenance on a rental car. Enterprise has much newer, better maintained cars in my opinion. Very difficult to reach the Bradley Airport location by phone to ask questions during the rental week. I was on hold for over 15 minutes.

Cons: When we arrived at the Hertz location near Bradley Airport our name was not posted on the Gold Board. We went in the office, waited in line, were finally served, and were told that our rental had been cancelled! After recovering from this shock, we were polite and Hertz made good on the rental.

Misleading then charged
Cons: I did a search on kayak for Bradley international airport and a car came up. I clicked the car to rent it and put in my credit card information. Once the credit card went through the site confirmed the pick up with in Hartford not Bradley. I called Hertz to cancel, and they said that because I had reserved through kayak, they would not refund me my entire amount and I was still charged $50.

Pros: The Nissan was a good and economical car.
Cons: The person who checked me in. I had a reservation in hand for a car at Bradley Field. He said I was supposed to go to New Britain. I said I have no way to get there. He said it would cost a bit more money than I had accepted on line. On line it was $245 & he added about $20 more. It made me very unhappy. There was not one customer in the room.
Cons: No receipt emailed. Receipt hard to process online. Charged me $20 to fill a 7/8 tank when they had agreed they gave it to me at 7/8.

Pros: The clerk at the rental office accommodated my needs by allowing me to return the car at the airport rather than the Hartford office. The airport location was more convenient to me because my own car was parked nearby the airport. He was very friendly and helpful. The staff at the airport rental office were also helpful and accommodating and even informed me that I could ask for a shuttle pickup to return to my own car. The Hartford offices were cleaner than the one in Queens.

No credit no car
Pros: Agent at the desk told me which car rental places took debit cards
Cons: So getting a deal is one thing. Getting to the rental car place at 11:45 and being told no credit card = no car sucked. At least the woman told me Alamo and national rent with debit cards. Something needs to be said before a reservation is made that a cc is needed
Pros: Usually there is a long slow line at the desk but this time it went very quickly. Great price!
Cons: Car was a bit dinged up but it was comfortable.

Downgraded, lacked power, and huge air freshener o
Pros: Was disappointed when arrived and informed kia soul was only vehicles available despite reserving a full size vehicle. Rate was discounted to compensate - fair enough. The soul rides rough and could not hold speed on a modest grade without down shifting and running at 4500 room. Rather annoying. The car had an extremely strong air freshener smell to it. Not good for allergies. Other than the lack of power the car ran well and was economical. Base insurance in CT cost almost as much as the car rental. No more Thrifty for me.
