I went to Cozumel, Mexico and had not book any transportation yet, because we would like to check the situation first and decide to get car, taxi, scooter or other possible transportations. We decided to rent a car, however with local vendors we need to hassle and bargain, and it’s not cheap. I ended up book a car online (using Kayak, offered by Expedia). It had fair price, payment was done online and we got decent car for the price. with local car rental, i would get car without door or manual car. Altho it looks cool and hip, but it’s raining here and there, so I’m glad we got small sedan - with AC and we got automatic car too! Cons:They did not have the car that I reserved. Also added additional fees at the pickup. They offered to take me to the hotel and deliver the car the next day, but we had already booked a tour that we needed the car for and honestly I didn’t trust them.Reviewed 23 May 2021

Pros:We arrived at Alamo and they did not have a vehicle for us. They said Kayak did not confirm whether Alamo had cars available. It was the worst car rental experience I have ever had.Cons:A refund.Reviewed 23 May 2021

Pros:Not a thing!Cons:Kayak shouldn't be booking car rentals when they've been warned by Alamo that they have no rental's. I had to pay triple the cost to secure a car in Cozumel for a week because of Kayaks failure.Reviewed 8 Jan 2021
