Cons:
The SUV that I reserved was not available which made me later than I was expecting which basically pushed a lot of other things to be later than expected; then I was charged for another day rental although the guy at the airport said that I should not have been charged for extra day. I was not compensated at all for them not having the 7 passenger vehicle with 2 bags SUV that I reserved! Pathetic2.0 Poor

My reservation said “Hyundai Sante Fe Sport or similar” but I received a Chevrolet Equinox. I quickly learned that the Equinox is nowhere near the quality of the Santa Fe Sport, so I felt I had been given a sub-par vehicle.10.0 Wonderful

I was charged an additional $30+ For an “upgrade” that I neither requested, nor was told about at the time of pickup. The only reason I even realize I was being charged additional amount is because I begin my charges just prior to return. When I mentioned the eronious charge upon return, the gentleman who received the car said I can go directly inside before the rental was closed out and they could resolve the issue. When I went inside they gave me a one 800 number to call and said they couldn’t help me at the counter. In the end, the one 800 number rep did fix the issue and refund the additional amount, but per the rep it will take approximately 3 to 5 business days to receive the refund to my card. I also wasted an hour of my time dealing with the counter and phone reps.Cons:
The underhanded way the counter wrapped charge me for the upgrade but never told me, or mention the additional charge to me. This is the same counter rep at that told me I had to go to the one 800 number to fix the issue.Payless

Had reservation for pickup at 8pm. Got there 10 minutes after 8pm to find out they closed at 8pm. Poor communication and should not allow for reservation to be scheduled at closing time.3.2 Poor

Scheduled pick up for 8pm. They closed at 8pm and no one was able to assist me with rental. I had to cancel and order another car last minute through a different company. I had to pay more and lost 2 hours of time. Called Bridget Whiteman, the supervisor, and she recommended I wait until the next morning to pick up the car. Very poor service and would not recommend.Alamo

Staff in Jackson never answered the phone. We were getting in at 11:15PM and it said the booth closed at 11. Call all day to confirm and no one picked up. When we returned the car, we were charged double the price of what we rented it for. Horrible experience.6.8 Okay

I liked the efficiency of service, the car was ready. It was a great experience. The rental process was hindered by the overly flirty associate.Cons:
The associate was unprofessional. He asked me where I was going, where I worked, make comments about my appearance. When I asked him what was his purpose, he stated it was apart of his job. I came to get a car, not to be harassed at the counter by a hormonal college student. He thought my irritation was funny. He and the female associate next to him. It was not.Enterprise Rent-A-Car

The associate at the Jackson Hertz was very unhelpful and discourteous. I reserved a mid-size SUV and on the reservation it said, “Jeep Cherokee, Ford Escape, Toyota Rav-4, or similar model.” However, the associate would not let me rent a Jeep Cherokee without paying for an upgrade.8.0 Very Good

I got the run-around for more than 1 hour and ultimately we had to call corporate to get a car issued. The car I ultimately got was not the car I had reserved and was not very comfortable (a very basic Toyota RAV 4 instead of a Chrysler 200). I had lost my drivers license and my state issued a paper license to be used with an older expired license and the clerk at the counter refused to accept it even though it was a state-issued license. Manager also refused, even when told that the Hertz agreement only states that the driver must present a valid license (which I did). He told my husband that if we read the internal documents from Hertz (how in the world would anyone have access to this stuff?) we'd see that paper licenses were not acceptable. 2 calls to corporate only confirmed what we knew--a paper license issued by the state was indeed valid. 90 long minutes later, a car was ultimately issued. We have never had such poor customer service from a rental car company.10.0 Wonderful
