Booked a car to be picked upnin Calgary and returned in Vancouver. What wasnt clear (maybe with very small letters?) was that the drop fee for returning in a different lovation wasnt included in Kayak’s rental price. Drop fee was ~40% of rental fee!! I would probably have booked anyway but not nice to be tricked. Car and waitingntime etc was fine but hard to be happy when cheated this way

Ali made the pick up very easy and smooth. Same with the drop off. Would highly reccomend renting with Avis and Ali in particular.

Terrible. Rude staff. Didn't want to help me or my wife. Left my wife in tears out the front with zero regard. We went to pick up our car, we had already made the booking in advance because we wanted to be organised. We had tours already paid for that we needed to be at. Arrived at downtown calgary avis on 10th ave and thats where the trouble started. Natalia was who we spoke with, Wouldn't use our international debit card even though it says in the terms and conditions that they do accept international debit cards? She offered zero help as to what we could do to get us on our way, zero compassion or concern for us sitting out the front with all of our bags while my wife was crying. The only input she had was "this isnt worth me losing my job" Went to another avis and received the best service and used our international debit card with no problems. The downtown calgary avis needs to have a serious talk with current staff about customer service. Due to natalia's lack of care and willingness to help, we lost money for a tour that we had already paid for. Lost money having to go elsewhere and hire another car. And caused a massive amount of stress and anxiety that we didn't need on our honeymoon
The personnel has been great. Take good care of me.

Horrible experience they were not open and were not answering the phone, so how was I supposed to pickup the car or drop it off. No assistance from customer service ..essentially I cancelled the rental as I couldn’t talk to anyone at the location and customer service wouldn’t help me .

We took a taxi from the Airport. I would have paid the extra to have the car there to meet us. I left my sunglasses in the car. I would be very delighted to get them mailed to me.

The staff gave me excellent service during my time in Calgary. My rental was supposed to be for 5 days, but they advised me I'd be getting a 6th day free as they were closed on the day I was supposed to return the car. They were extremely friendly and informative, and the process was clear and quick. I will definitely be doing business with Hertz again the next time I'm needing a vehicle in Calgary or any other province within Canada!

Got surprised by young driver fees, i selected the age 24 while booking, it gave me those prices, they added additional charges.
I had made a mistake with my credit card agreed if was my fault. I came back the next morning first thing and the man at the desk was rude from the beginning also they didn’t give me the car I paid for and the man at the desk was nice at first but begin to become hostile with me and difficult

Picking from sixth floor with four bags is difficult as well as finding west entrance to drop vehicle is so confusing and no proper address
