Cons (-) Iceland is a fantastic and unique place, unfortunately due to us, the Tourists, prices are through the roof. That includes the Midgardur Hotel. For some reason we were unable to get Hot water in our room. Luke warm at best ! And yes I am familiar with how to operate the European Faucets :)

Pros (+) The hot tubs and sauna were great during the summer night. Free breakfast was an amazing perk. It’s also right by a bus stop for tours which is highly convenient.
Cons (-) No blackout curtains, there was a silverfish in my room, and the water pressure/flow is a bit weak in the shower. Also wish the hot tub was open later than 10 PM but that’s very typical and I just would have liked to take advantage of additional daylight. :)
