Pros (+) Baggage delivery to and from the ferry to Split. Access to facilities before official check in. Excellent breakfast. Attentive staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros (+) Lovely spacious and comfortable room. Very quiet, and with a sea view. Main building is modern and airy. Upon arriving by ferry, there was a complimentary transfer of our luggage to the hotel, which was very welcome. Our luggage was in the foyer when we arrived at reception. It's a 10 minute walk to the beautiful town of Hvar.
Cons (-) When we checked in, we were notified of a €50 per night, refundable charge, for the security of our room. We are a retired couple, so this seemed rather excessive and unnecessary. We decided to avail of the dinner option on our first night. Very poor selection, and very disappointing. I had a glass of wine which seemed less than half the size normally given.

Pros (+) The only saving grace of the entire stay was the breakfast service. The spread was quite good, with a variety of fresh and tasty options. The breakfast staff seemed more professional and attentive than the front desk.
Cons (-) Our stay at Pharos – Hvar Bayhill Hotel from October 10th to 12th, 2025, was a huge disappointment and completely ruined the excitement of our Hvar trip. We booked a double bed room, but were given a twin bed instead. This meant me and my partner had to sleep separately, and even worse, the mattresses kept splitting apart in the middle. Two nights of uncomfortable sleep is not what anyone expects ...
