Late. As always.
Plane was delayed twice and nothing was communicated. They where aware that we we missing our connecting flights and promised to give us accomodation overnight a KL. when we arrived at KL there was again no communication and they then told us there was to be no accomodation, they had flat out lied. I after about an hour lining up to get a replacement ticket for the next flight (which took unnecessarily long considering they knew this was happening hours in advance), we went to the airport hotel which I would have booked if they had not lied to me to find that it was booked out.
An apppology for a start and hopefully some compensation
Flight was delayed twice. We missed our connecting flight and the next flight wouldn't be until the next day. Customer service was ridiculously slow.

It's a no frills airline! Plane on time, clean, arrived on time. What more do you want?
Boarding was quite messy as flight was delayed but many passengers were not informed. Only one service officer was being bombarded with questions from passengers when it would save so much trouble just making a proper announcement in the first place. Boarding queue also merged with another flight departing at a similar time, causing a massive bottleneck. Whilst on board, pre-ordered food was not served with cutlery and it took another 15 mins to get the attn of the stewardess to get the cutlery served. Would have been faster to just get it myself.
The flight was cheap and the plane itself (B787) is a new plane and the lower pressurised altitude is very nice.
I didn't like being told off by one of the flght attendants for eating my own food on the flight. If Scoot's food was more reasonably priced I would buy it, but it is overpriced and therefore I need to bring my own. The seats are uncomfortable for sleeping in. The cabin temperature was a bit cold and with no blanket supplied this made it hard to sleep. Even though you are flying between two tropical destinations, I would recommend bringing a jumper.
Nothing other than punctuality.
After boarding started there was no Aircon the flight was boiling hot and hugely suffocated. Also so many mosquito surely need better service.
The cabin crews were friendly and helpful.
Both flights that I boarded got delayed but no assurance or informed by staffs on what time it might take to arrived.
We finally made it to destination
The flight was turned around halfway to destination due to technical problem. Understandable and acceptable. However very little assistance was given to us once back in KUL while waiting for new flight. Zero compensation given, not even a free soda on the new flight! Hey Air Asia, its called a voucher! Never did get the meals we had paid for in advance when booking. Will avoid this cheap skate airline in the future.
