was charged $72 at the airport to check my bag. I have not flown with Air Asia before and I did not know that I would not be able toa check my bag for free, let alone have to pay $72. I was disgusted. Air Asia should make their baggage fees more visible and honest so when a customer books a flight, they can take those fees in to consideration. Space inside the cabin is very limited. For tall people it is difficult to spread legs as the knees touch the seat in front. Luggage was missing when I arrived at my destination without any compensation to buy first necessity articles.

The food is shockingly decent. Yeah you have to pay cash and it’s not convenient, but the food is edible and there is lots of variety.

AirAsia sucks balls. Or at least, it was fine leaving Singapore, but returning from a crappy small town airport to it was a fraudulent nightmare. We were told to check in online and add baggage at least two days before flying to avoid excessive baggage fees. So we paid them the first time, no problem. But AirAsias website is clearly coded by bricks with fingers. Because 6,5,4, and 3 days prior, it says such service is unavailable. Okay, we’ll do it at the airport then, it’ll be nice and easy just like at Changi. Only at this crappy subpar excuse for an airport, they live by no rules and want to charge $300USD - more than double what was charged at Changi - for two 20kg bags. 20kg, which my boarding pass and my booking both say we are entitled to, is suddenly 5kg in excess, so they want to screw your American wallet hard, long, and good because even if you had a good time, chances are you will never pass through the half baked gas station that is Langkawi again. Oh yeah and don’t bother paying for the WiFi - they get you good there too - 10mb which is basically a couple jpegs but you won’t get squat anyway. Literally nothing, and then suddenly your puny 10mb has disappeared, along with your money and what’s left of AirAsias credibility.

We arrived at the counter 1:50 before scheduled departure. The queue took 55 minutes for us to reach the counter. We were told then we should have rushed the counter to clear the 1 hour hurdle. There was no approach by staff to warn the waiting queue to do this. We were given boarding passes and told to try our luck taking the luggage through security and try gate baggage check. We made the plane 20 minutes before scheduled departure

My checked bag did not arrive at my work city of Singapore. It took 2 days to be brought to my hotel despite my being told they would be on the next flight. I arrived back in Denpasar yesterday and, again, my bags are lost and I again I was told they would be on the next flight. I still do not have my bag. Seems to be a pattern with Malaysian Airways and I will avoid them in the future, Also, I left my Ipad plugged in at the Premier Lounge in Denpasar and realized it as I was boarding the plane. The Malaysian Air boarding staff got on radios and appeared to try to help by telling them to put aside for pick up upon my return. Yesterday, The Premiere lounge said they did not have it despite my name, email and phone number being written on the Ipad. Between Malaysian Air and the Lounge and their lack of concern and professionalism it was not a good trip. As One World Emerald member, I steer a lot of business towards these One World Airlines. I expect better treatment.

I was traveling without access to WiFi and was unable to add my checked bags until the morning them the web site wouldn't let me add the bags. I got to the airport and the airline charged me $300 in fees for my two bags. Highway robbery. I'll never fly Air Asia again.

Usurious fees for checked bags and the flights are always late to boot.

Liked the USB port for recharging electronic devices

Seats were too close together. Not very comfortable. We were in row in front of emergency exit. Seats didn't recline. We should be alerted when we select these seats that they are uncomfortable.

Had a transit flight through KL from Colombo to Bali. The luggage was not with me and my friend along with about 7-10 others post arrival in Bali. We received the luggage after losing almost one day eating into our holiday. Minor compensation was given but the inconvenience was far more! This is not the KL to colombo flight but thought i will write it in here as I got this through Kayak
