Friendly staff! Hotel shuttle drivers were very friendly and accommodating. Location isn't good. Removed from all the sites and food places. Hotel shuttle is not as convenient as I thought it would be since there's only one and it only leaves every hour.
Everyone nice. Use of computer. Rooms excellant The neighborhood may not be the best but we were in a university and they had a bus to take you to the metro station running every 20 minutes
The rooms are excellent and the hole university/college place its very nice. The area where the hotel is situated is not nice or safe at all.

The staff made our stay very welcoming and accomodating. The room was clean and pleasant to sleep in. The grounds were well kept and very convenient.
Safe for the area as it is surrounded by a rod iron fencing around the campus and a manner security station, overall very clean, employees were friendly. Food in Bistro was fresh with a good selection, and staff very accommodating, but a little expensive for the offerings. The grounds were pleasant and spacious. Room was very quiet and could not hear noises in the halls, or from neighbors. It was spacious. The bedding was comfortable and towels thick and felt nice. Great customer service from the front desk as they responded well above and beyond to concern of an item I had left behind with excellent follow through. The room was not stocked appropriately for the number of people staying the in room; the shower needed some repairs on the adjustable bar; totally missing. Made showering awkward to say the least. The price of breakfast was a little high for the area. Should simply build the parking fee structure into the cost of their rooms, given you are certainly not going to park off campus and walk to the hotel.
The location and the staff, also that my daughter attends Gallaudet U, I will be coming back! No fridge or microwave and no complimentary coffee in the morning.

Slightly out of the way but very convenient for our needs. Very quiet. I would definitely stay there again.
Loved the location. It was close to so many places and really appreciated the shuttle to union station. This was second time we stayed at Kellogg and each time our room key did not work so we had to return to front desk and there were no apologies-no nothing! Almost as if it was our fault.

The Refrigerator fit many water bottles? Um, it is difficult to write anything positive about this hotel. Um, don't know where to begin. This hotel is in the middle of no where, next to the railroad. Non-smoking room had a deep, deep cigarette smell. Seemed like someone was smoking in there not too long ago. If it wasn't for me not being able to sleep earlier because of west coast time, you could hear and feel the trains coming and going. The walls are very thin, and you can here anything outside. There are also some people that come by bumping their music so loud, that the room vibrates. This also occurred during the wee hours. So if you are a light sleeper and you want to stay here, good luck. However, this is not the reason why I left. On the first night, I found a bug on the sheets. I wasn't sure if it was a bed bug, because it was the first time I saw that type of bug, so I killed it. While I was sleeping, I woke up because I felt itchy. However, I sometimes get itchy, so I didn't think it was bed bugs yet. After the next night, I woke up and once I was about to leave, I saw a smaller bug on the bed again, so I caught it, but this time when I smashed the bug, blood smeared on the sheets. So, I knew they were bed bugs, and I packed up my stuff, and went to the front desk. I told the manager that I wanted to get a refund for the remaining time there (I had booked for 8 nights). The front desk made it very difficult to receive a refund, and not until my sister yelled at the front desk with a customer waiting did he agree to the refund. He was trying to get us to check out and pay the full amount. So, I spent one day in DC trying to quarantine all my luggage. So if you really have to stay here, you have been warned.
Tv wasn't working in our room not a major but they kindly changed our room for us.
Comfortable. Really nice place. Guy from the front desk really hepful (the one during the day), rest of the staff doesn't speak english so well so sometimes is hard to understand what they are saying. They don't speak spanish either... so weird thing fot the us!. Breakfast: Old donuts - weird bread and bad coffee. Is far from the Metro, like 10-15 minutes walking. if u have a suitcase to pull over the road, u'll be in trouble, there is no sidewalk so u'll have to pull it through grass and dust... not great if it's rainy as my case. Once u get to the station is great. Places to eat are far away, but I always ordered to the room.... so it was fine.
The room was very clean and well kept. The staff h was friendly and courteous. The amenities were getting pretty old. The hotel is in a very bad section of town and was not comforting.
It was an excellent location and I found it very convenient to walk to the Metro station rather than driving and trying to find parking. The facilities of the room were good. Rather noisy and difficult to access when driving east on New York Avenue.
I was bitten by vermin all over and couln't sleep. So I had to move my room at 2:00 am.

La wifi gratuite, le petit déjeuner compris, 15min à pied du 1er metro, plutôt propre A la réservation et dans le mail de confirmation, rien n'indiquait qu'on avait loué une chambre "fumeur" alors qu'en arrivant à l'hôtel, le réceptionniste m'a assuré que si... Notre chambre était donc : -puante de cigarette -pas encore nettoyée (lit défait, télé et lumières allumées) toutefois, nous avons gentiment demandé et la personne nous a donné une chambre non fumeur cette fois!
