The room was very clean and the bathrooms were clean. The location is convenient and quiet.

At arrival I spoke English which would indicate that that is my language, but after 3 words of English the receptionist switched to Italien. He explained some main attractions around town in lightening speed. I said I don't speak Italien, so he switched to English for another couple of words and than back to Italien. Sorry for my confusion--why do you accept international guests? No individual A/C in the room. Only a vent that was very high up (tall ceiling). It was unbelievably hot in the room. When I asked what could be done, I was told that the thermometer in the hallway only shows 25.4 Celsius, and that 25 C really is not too hot. But *my room was* extremely hot. I got no sleep the first night. I saw that other guests had individual A/Cs. Besides what kind of a reply is that anyway? There are 2 bathrooms. One with a very small shower stall and nothing to put your shampoo, soap, etc. on. I had to put my soap on the shower floor--yuck! The other one has an older, stained tub with a removable shower head. The shower head does not go higher than for someone about 5' 7". The water temperature constantly changes from super cold to super hot.

Location near Arena. Efficient check-in with lots of instructions. Breakfast is largely self-service, from the kitchen and in a small breakfast room with small tables, though large and fresh selection on offer.

Be aware there is no reception desk, arrival by appointment with a warning that if timing not advised prior, this may lead to delayed access to the building, which had us worried.
