large rooms, price, good cleaning situated
the decor was interesting and the internet wifi worked well but was chargeable. No lift, had to haul luggage up flights of stairs. Parking nearby almost impossible so paid to park in public car park. Beware of booking breakfast without checking what breakfast consists of. The 4.50€ charge only covers a piece of toast, one coffee and a glass of orange juice and any cereal etc is exhorbitantly expensive. Not made clear at time of booking or serving or would not have selected this option. Only discovered this at time of checking out.
The hotel is an easy 15 min walk to the old city. We managed to find a free parking spot right outside the door. The rooms are nicely done out, clean & comfortable. Some staff speak excellent English, others less so. All very helpful though. Very smart but good value hotel The room we had for the 1st night (right at the back) was a bit cigarette smelly and had loud intermittent humming noise coming from a flat above all night. The guy on reception the next morning was very helpful and moved us to another room. Still noise from corridor (all hard surfaces) & bit of snoring from room next door - but overall much better.
The hostal was convenient and comfortable. Parking was available and free on the street. There was only one long pillow for two people on the bed making it a bit uncomfortable for sleeping.
Excellent 2 star Hotel with good, friendly services and clean rooms. Good beds. Public transport in front of the hotel, but also a nice walk towards the centre.
Staff was nice and helpfull. The room and bathroom were a bit small, but nice and clean. Good place to stay a couple of nights and visit town.
good price-quality ratio, our room was quite, well eqipped, good parking, easy to get from main road. we were given room for smokers (we asked for non-smoking room while booking).
The rooms are very clean, the staff friendly and helpful (although my ropey Spanish was the only language going). The aircon is super-efficient; especially in the communal areas. The lounge area was a very pleasant place to spend the night chatting and using the PC provided. Wifi in the rooms also worked well. Getting the luggage from the underground parking to the room (even reception is on the 1st floor) was tricky with no lift/elevator. The double bed had a plastic mattress protector under the sheets. Breakfast seemed to be a coffee, a (delicious) fresh orange and a single slice of toast, meaning a roadside stop for lunch came quicker than usual.
The staff was very friendly even though we didn't speak the language (Spanish) they tried to communicate with us and give us directions and help us find what we were looking for. The rooms were simple, clean and not too small. Hostal was quiet so we had a good nights sleep. They let us keep our car there for a few hours after we checked out too. No elevator and our room was on the third floor so it was a little hard to carry the luggage if you have a lot. You have to have someone at the front desk open the parking garage door for you so you way have to wait a few minutes to open it.
It is a very good hostal, may be with the best-looking and comfortable room and facilities we met among the hotels of similar rate level in our spain tour. No.
