Very disappointing as reviews were much better. we do not mind a small place, or lack of luxury but the place was pretty dirty and smelly. there was a broken off fingernail (from one of the previous guests) on the bathroom floor for four days, we had to ask for the sink and bathtub to be wiped down / bathroom cleaning. no maid service except fresh towels every day. TV has only five stations, and they are all Japanese. The internet worked very good though, they only had to re-set the modem once. close proximity to Shinjuku station (walk about 10 mins), and even closer to two smaller stations. bed is comfortable albeit small as Japanese size. we asked for extra pillows and extra blanket and it was fine. only one of the four staff spoke English but it was manageable. I would only recommend this place for one night, as an emergency stay. would not stay there againPros: Location was great, close to two JR train stations as well as Shinjuku station (10 min walk)Cons: tiny room+bathroom; the shower curtain smelled extremely bad so that we went out and bought a new one. no maid service, after 3 days we left a note to please clean the sink+tub and vacuum which they only did then and only once in 8 days.Very disappointing
