Grand Hotel La Favorita

The hotel decorations were wonderful. It is in a perfect location and a great staff.

We wanted the air conditioning to go lower.

The property is beautiful and the location is perfect, just steps from the elevator to the pier and near the main square. We had a deluxe room, room 319, with a huge bathroom and ample storage, and a big balcony with a partial view over the sea. The breakfast buffet was terrific and had an omelet station, which was excellent.

We discovered small black ants in our bathroom right after we checked in. The maid came up and sprayed. They died, then a few more came in. They died too, and that was it. The word must have gone out to the ant community to stay away!

Very luxurious large hotel that was full. But we only knew this as we asked,,, it felt like it was ours, pool not crowded, bars empty etc. At the excellent buffet breakfast we saw the other guests and were pleasantly surprised by the piano player who performed nonstop! Close to everything, next to all the shops and restaurants.

Only the hairdryer was the type that you had to always hold the button...not easy

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The excursion and transportation operators that the hotel recommended were very good and the hotel took care of bookings for us. The hotel is beautifully appointed and the view from the rooftop pool and bar is extraordinary. The location of the property is perfect - very close to the main square and many restaurants and shops, yet a few steps away from the hustle and bustle.

This hotel is incredible. The location is perfect in Sorrento. You are close enough to everything in town including beautiful ocean views but far enough from the noise and crowds. The rooms were very large, well decorated, impeccably clean, and exceeded all of our expectations. I would stay here again without any hesitation and highly recommend this for anyone looking to stay in Sorrento.
