Staff was very friendly.
Three days of constant construction from 8 am to after 6 pm. Could not rest in our room during the day due to noise: electric saw, pounding, hammering, people yelling, whistling at workers...It made it unpleasant. We were moved on Thursday, 9/12/19 after 6 pm to a different room and checked out Saturday, 9/14/19 at 7 am.

NY food prices in Playa del Carmen. The breakfast for two cost me about $65. It was outstanding though.

Adjacent to the hotel took place regularly from the early afternoon until the evening for a noisy party which is not connected to the hotel but shook the rooms with unbearable decibels. The rooms are not acoustically insulated and it was impossible to rest in the room during these hours

A playground of natural wonder, the XCaret Eco Theme Park offers attractions for guests less than seven miles from the Grand Hyatt. Although about 40 miles away, the Tulum Mayan Ruins will astound guests and are well worth the visit.
