Great little hotel with an extremely friendly staff. Definitely charges in line with what you get -- not a ton of amenities, but this is unnecessary for Paris when you spend so little time in your hotel.
It is located at the city cnetre area and nearer to Equip Hotel show. All OK
Location. Short walk to metro. Walking distance to Eiffel Tower. Local facilities eg bar/mini market/street cafes but in a quiet street. Hotel staff were excellent, friendly professional and multi lingual. Staff impressed me most actually. Breakfast room bright and cheerful. no
location excellent,staff very nice
the room was warm enough so, for once, I didn't have to rise up the heater no curtain on the window of the bathroom. even if the glass of the window is blurred, is not enough to respect intimacy. + the acoustic is pretty poor as I was waken up by my neighbor clock.
Room is clean and comfortable but small. Breakfast is too little for the amount charged The small lift
Warm, friendly atmosphere with friendly polite staff. Very relaxed problem free stay.
Friendly staff, adequate facilities Rooms too noisy (no soundproofing) and too hot; the beds had plastic matress covers making them very hot and uncomfortable
Good location, helpful staff Very small rooms, quite plain
Nice room and bathroom. Convenient location. Quiet spot in a noisy city. Poor advice on restaurants from night staff who seemed intent on pushing one particular one that he knew the owner
Location and pleasant staff Badly designed shower; no coffee making equipment; pillows too large and uncomfortable; insufficient covers on bed
Friendliness of staff There is no retaurant only a breakfast room and no coffee making facilities in the room.
Helpful staff and very central for sites and shopping. Good for a break not for a long stay. Everything was as expected but we have stayed before.
The location of the hotel is a very good thing. The room service is very poor
I didn't like the behaviour one reception clerk - man, he was unwilling, arrogant and nervous.
Very good location. Very overrated based on reviews. The hotel has an odd smell, beds are hard, rooms are smaller than advertised and staff was fighting with clients when I arrived. Any more questions?
First visit to Paris - however, have stayed in many hotels all over europe (through work) and this is amongst the best. leaving
room was very clean and very comfortable. was also in the centre of everything breakfast was expensive
Good air con. Pleasant staff. Good location
The location is excellent. You are a few steps from the metro and there is easy access to all the tourist locations. You have a view of the Eiffel tower from your window. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Towels were dirty so you have to check before using them. When we arrived the previous occupants left a lot of stuff in the ref which were starting to go bad. It made a foul smell in the room. The blankets in the upper cabinet have been used so we didn't dare use them.
Location was great. Front desk staff were very helpful, even if the night receptionist was a bit groggy when we woke up early for our taxi to the airport. Room was so small that 2 people getting ready at the same time was nearly impossible. Nowhere to lay out the suitcases if you wanted to open the doors. Cleaning staff were inconsistent: one day we got all new towels, the next, only 1 bath and 1 hand towel. Not horrible, but still had to head to the front desk for a towel. I won't stay here again. The location wasn't worth the cramped space.
Staff, location, and service provided. The staff were extremely helpful when we needed to extend out stay to wait for lost luggage. The hotel was booked solid but the staff went on-line and assisted us in arranging the add'l days we needed at another hotel. Also, we liked the little fridges in the room...good for our baby's milk. The rooms were kind of small
Location for sightseeing good but restaurants in the area were overpriced with badly cooked food and poor selection. Staff were helpful particularly Florent who was most helpful with planning our itinerary each day. Our room and beds was far too small for two elderly people, air conditioning did not seem to be very effective, tea and coffee facilities were not supplied, I had to request them twice and supplies were never replaced while we were there.
Good Location, helpful reception (offered me baby cot free of cost)
Great location, good staff (especialy if you take the time to have a chat to them.
Great location, very clean and good standard of the hotel. nothing
Location was perfect for my business meetings
location, location, location. And although the rooms are Paris-sized, they are very well laid out, making a lot more space for our stuff that an ordinary hotel room. Separate closet space for each of us.
Excellent condition None
Excellent Location. Early housekeeping.
The location was good- across the river from the Eiffel Tower. Breakfast was just bread, jam and coffee.
Good location. Near Trocadero and restaurants which did good breakfasts for 11Euros. Supermarket opposite. Near tube station. Entrance and reception area poor and off-putting. We were in Room 2 on the ground floor and getting to it was like walking through a cupboard. Bedroom and bathroom quite small but clean - towels changed every day. Breakfast room poor as was breakfast.
Very nice and helpful staff Rooms are small. Some of them are very dark (ground floor)
Close to tranist and the eifell tower.
First provide me with a room that was not accepable, after complaining the arranged for a slightly better room. Service just basic and not friendly. Hotel was out of power for no reason and no apologies from staff beside bringing a candle to the room Service, front desk staff not to friendly, prentencious
Very friendly and competent staff. Good, quiet location tiny French ("continental") breakfast, but this is the same everywhere in France
The location, the style and quite easgoing
great location poor breakfast
Very nice and helpful staff. Beautiful classic Parisian style boutique hotel. Excactly what we were looking for for a romantic long weekend in Paris. Highly recommended. The toilet was in a separate room which was extremely small.. However, this is just a minor observation.
The staff however were courteous and helpful. I am Asian and the manager was not welcoming and in fact she argued with me. The room was really small and I do not think I got value for the money I paid for a 4-star hotel. The lobby was shabby, dark and not presentable. I will not recommend this hotel.
Good service in Redisson chain style, everything was on the level Main feature is old style, which is not always good. Old floors, etc. But tastes differ
i like the staff, escpecially the girl on the morning shift, she is nice an extremely helpful. indeed, all the staffs there are very helpfual and pleasant. the room is a bit small as well as the bathroom in compare to the money i pay.
The hotel is so charming and the staff so nice, I really enjoyed to stay their
very kind and helpful staff, fascinating buidling in a very nice district Internet did not work, television did not work, room was pretty small, hotel in need of a good overall revamp, slightly decaying and withou the services of a 4 star hotel... definitively average 3 star and overpriced
The location of the hotel The size of the room
Beautiful hotel and wonderful helpful staff
Amazing service and help from the staff, fantastic location, plenty of reasonably priced, good restaurants around The rooms really are small, but if you don't plan on spending too much time there, it's not a problem!
Very good situated.
Hotel staff very very friendly even checkin us in early after a long night travelling at 9.00am-perfect location for Effiel tower-will definetely stay again No
The hotel is new and cleanliness well maintained
Hotel staff,cleanliness,location. Small room.
Excellent location near the Eiffel Tower. Very good price. Small, but clean rooms. Friendly, but eccentric, staff.
Good quality hotel - clean reasonable size rooms in quiet central position
The staff were really lovely and very helpful. The room was modern and lovely. Location was spot on.
Very convenient to Arc de Triomphe, Effiel Tower, and Metro. Many local restaraunts within walking distance. Our room was somewhat small, on the 1st floor (one level up from gound), and faced the street. It was noisey at night as the avenue which the hotel is on is a little busy. Not major dislikes, just something to keep in mind. If to do again, ask for a room higher up or facing the back.
Very friendly/accommodating staff. Very convenient location. Really non-smoking. Very clean. We would return. While it was not a problem for us, the elevator lets you out between floors, meaning you carry your bags up/down several stairs to your room.
excellent service, excellent rooms restaurant can be also open on Sundays
the service during the breakfast was awful.
The staff were excellent. This was my second stay this week. A much nicer room with a fantastic view.Great location.
Good, clean room and nice view (eiffel tower). Smart hosipitality. Swimming pool was also good. One of doormen was not helpful and seemed indifference to his job.
Close to attraction Very very small room because of that I moved to other hotel after 2 nights.
As always the free internet. Reception staff were excellent. good location. Breakfast was very good, nice change feam the usual buffet. Did not much like the bathroom which was in the entry to the room. Was glad I was alone as room was very small. Lighting was a bit tricky and not enough as always.
The hotel was lovely - the staff were exceptional, very polite and couldn't do enough for us. Paris is very expensive but this hotel definitely earnt its money. If we return to Paris we will definitely book in there again. N/A
The very helpful and kind concierge who helped with a changing of rooms(the first one was noisy), making reservations at a busy restaurant for me at the very last minute and general kindness and helpfulness with taxi bookings etc. The hotel needs to be maintain physically as there are many peeling plaster and leaky ceilings here and there. It's very contemporary and beautifully designed but upkeep at the moment is shabby.
Very well located hotel, great for metro station, Trocadero and Eiffel Tower. Room was very tasteful and comfortable along with en suite facilities. Staff service was excellent, they couldn't do enough for you. Limited choices of food on restaurant menu. Bar closed early whislt we were there so you had to either have a drink in the restaurant or room service. The price is high due to the location as the actual facilities in the hotel were limited. Don't expect a room with a view of the tower as these rooms are limited and if you specifically want a room with the view book ealry and specify.
Compared to other Radisson hotels I've stayed at, this hotel gave me the ultimate best experience. Nothing to point a finger at - simply perfect!
Great view of Eiffel Tower.
Location Not what I expected. Hotel claims to be a 4 star but, It's no better then any 3 star in Paris.
good location and friendly receptionists
good location, size of the room is ok, hotel staff is helpful internet connection, even at the lobby, is always and very problematic, when you ask for a taxi, ask for a public one as they get you a private taxi with much higher rates
I chose this hotel because of its location, and it has Internet connection. The location was realy great, 100 meter from the Trecadero square and the metro, comfortable and soft of quite area. The very bad problem I had was the Internet connection, I stayed there for 10 days, and I was promised the connection issue will be solved many times, but almost never worked, it was very bad since I really needed the internet during my stay to follow up on ongoing projects that needed my daily attention. The receptionists tried to help, the manager did not bother to call for an apology, although my repeated complains about this issue.
staff OK Internet acces was a real mess, almost never operational and when operational very very bad connexion. Some lights were not operationnal in the room, bathroom products low quality
location low level of room service even after asking specific things like soap or bath robe to the reception had to ask again in order to get it...but in any case the room wasn't prepared as it should have been.No parking arrangement at the hotel and no public parking in the area. I was sent to a parking that is not publically opened so had to end up looking for a room to park in the streets. Hotel should have better knowledge to guide its guests.
small, room was not clean, bed was not comfortable. too expensive.
The location is very good The room was too warm, and there was noise from neighboring rooms or apartments
The hotel is a five minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and convenient to the metro. The hotel staff were very helpful and the room was comfortable and very clean. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.
close to the metro station, not very central, but much, much better than hotels in centre of Paris (which are old, dirty, without facilities like elevators, air-cond.etc, yet very expensive), very clean, large room for Paris, great bathroom (with clean towels every day) breakfast, for 15 EUR/pers was very, very poor, both in quantity and in variety
I booked a triple at the last minute (day before) and got a very nice upscale room. The hotel was very modern and comfortable. Location next to Eiffel Tower was awesome! Don't drink the coffee, I think it's Nescafe instant. Seriously! Instead go to the coffee shop on the corner across the street - coffee there was very good.
Close location to the Eiffel Tower. Dirty, rude staff, booked 2 non-smoking twin rooms which was confirmed over the phone by booking.com and they gave us 2 smokers double rooms, saying we would need to pay more if we wanted to have twin rooms although they were booked this way. The reception staff was rude and the hotel dirty and run down. Incredible sauna like heat during the day when we were not there, but it was turned off at night in -2º weather. No hot water either, barely warm. Will never stay here again and don't recomend it to anyone.
The staff was welcoming, even before my arrival. The location was easy to get to -- my uber from Gare du Nord was 13 euros and the Passy metro station was so close (2ish blocks), I used it a lot. My room was perfect -- small (single) but very clean and nice amenities. I was so glad to come back each night. Would definitely stay here again.
Hotel was located in a calm district. It was very close to Passy metro station which connects you easily to all main attractions in the city. Rooms were clean. Staff was helpful. Internet access in the rooms and breakfast was expensive. However you can have free wifi in the lobby.
The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The location was excellent. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet.
Size of rooms confusion over use of mini bar
front desk was very friendly and helpful.
The receptionist staff were most friendly and helpful Room was to cramped for sleeping in as bed tight agasinst the wall
The convenience and the helpful service of the people working in the hotel. Showers and bathroom were excellent and having broadband in the foyer was really good. I would have liked tea and coffee making and a fridge in the room but perhaps I didn't book a room with this. It might be worth thinking about broadband in all rooms? And the TV channels - perhaps more in English?
It would have been nice to have an English newspaper in the a.m. The staff was friendly. Christina (front desk) and Souad (breakfast) had wonderful smiles and made us feel very welcome
we booked a room and we got a different room. with two kids it was not the best solution
It is in the good location No
Great location, quiet neighbourhood. No noisy nights. Very friendly multi-lingual staff. Eco friendly touches are a nice little extra. The bed matresses, as in most places on mainland Europe, were too soft. I can't fault the Gavarni in particular for this - but if you have specific bed requirements, or are not used to really soft beds, perhaps ask if they can accommodate your needs.
The location, was brilliant easy access to everything and a nice quiet area with little disruption I thought the pictures on the internet did not depict the true decor or size of the actual room and thought this was a little misleading considering the price and the description that we had a 'superior' room
Very good place, small, but clean rooms, pleased reception. Too much noise at morning keeping, no chance to sleep longer 9:00 - 9:30
Nice and clean. Bathroom equipment. Very close to Eiffel and tube station. Very good bakery just next door to the hotel. Not enough light in the bathroom. Not a sound prove - can hear when neighbours are back or taking the shower. Very small room and bathroom (comparing the other 3* Paris hotel we stayed in).
The hotel is in such a great area! Close walking distance to the Eiffel tower and many cute cafes and shopping. We even had a view of the tower from our room! I felt very "Parisian".
I liked it that the staff was very friendly, the hotel was situated very well and the staff spoke french and english. We had an excellent stay in Paris and maybe we'll even go back to Passy Eiffel!
Very good all round, great location and friendly staff.
bathroom the room I goot when booking through booking.com was clean but dark and dingy. When I booked at the hotel in person I had a lovely room. The room categories were both "standard".
good situation. Small and clean hotel As always in France the breakfast is not worth the money
Customer oriented staff (excellent!), location, familier space I have missed a bath tub.
Good Location Elevator to small, the corridor from elevator to room very tight. And the light in the corridor is too dark for hotel
Location was great, near Eifet tower and Trocadero square. Metro station was nearby. Room space was small and air was very dry during the night.
Location, safe, easy access to transport, good and decent neighbourhood internet, tried to get English to check in but kept reverting to French. I therefore paid for a card I did not use. The transport to airport took forever apart from traffic which is understandable, there were too many pick ups on the way. They should let passengers know so they can use metro perhaps if they know. On the way in, it was perfect.
Good location, very clean. The hotel was partly under construction which courses noise. Room service was good but too early, so I couldn't get much sleep course of the thin walls.
Location not noisy
The staff were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. I was there partly on business and could just about walk everywhere I needed to be. The hotel is in a great area, not too noisy but quite close to all main attractions. There is a wonderful hairdresser just around the corner and lots of good bistros. I would happily stay again. Just something small: No do not disturb notices to hang on the door.
Friendly staff and excellent location. Nice and clean room.
Cleaningness of the toilet/shower-room and location Room a bit small
The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and accomodating. The room was comfortable, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The hotel is also located in an area easily accessible to many shops, restaurants, sites of interest, and easy access to a few different Metro stations. I have no complaints at all.
The staff was amazing. Very helpful with everything. They also spoke English.
The hotel staff is incredible. They're very warm and friendly, always helpful, always mindful of every guest's needs. Extra effort always to serve early breakfast, help out with directions and booking of excursions, and provide wi-fi service.
Good location Tiny rooms
I liked that the hotel is calm and in a good location I can't control the temprature of the room the air condation at the room I think is central control and you can't change the degree from the room
Hotel is at the middle of the city a couple of minutes away from Trocadero. I loved the decoration of the room, it is big for a Paris hotel and very comfortable. It is apity that the hotel is only open at summer, until september.
Great location, relatively quiet, large room Breakfast was overpriced
Real French charm, extremely close to Champs Elysse and Eiffel Tower-both within easy walk. The staff were so friendly and helpful, it was a most pleasant stay.
Staff was friendly.
Booking and reconfirmation was easy. However, there are plenty of hotels with a better quality/price relation in the vicinity which do not appear on Active Hotels. Hotel: Nice turn of the 19/20 century style setting... Friendly receptionist Room: Nice touch with an old fireplace, even if certainly never in use. Matress was firm. Insufficient investment in terms of standard amenities: Bathroom functional, but ancient wooden toilet seat, apparently several times repainted. No lift, but only three floors from what I could see Poor lighting in the room, despite a torchiere, ascerbated by the fact that walls where in night blue... No ligthing for the most basic camping style assembly of a table and two stools. I had to draft a presentation over a couple of hours and the only way to have light was to turn the torchiere floor lamp around to throw some light on the table. Bed: While sheets were fresh and clean, the headpiece of the bed had apparently not been dusted in this century. Worst: Old single pane windows, no insulation against traffic noise, in particular the garbage collection trucks in the morning... Poor sound insulation to staircase, rooms next and above. No discount through internet booking.
Friendly, quaint The bed was a little bit hard
Staff excelent could not do enough to help us, hotel was very french and original and extreemly clean, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. No it was everything it said it would be and more
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked the size of the room, the cleanliness and the central location. I think it is a very basic hotel (without elevator) and therefore too expensive.
We had a really good sized room and it was a lovely experience over all. Nice if there was a lift though.
The large room
The bed was wonderful. The shower was awful. The room had no place to store belongings. No wash cloths provided. Maid service was good. Room lighting was good and so was the airconditioning. Shower door did not contain water while using shower. Bathroom floor became extrmely wet. No place to store belongings. Breakfast buffet was inadequate for price.
the room is very small. in the morning thw water for bath was very cold. the elevator is very slow and take 5 minute to come downstair. the staff don't know about the musium of paris and can't help us about that.
The hotel was fine if it were not for the price. It was clean but no comparison for the fine hotels I had in London and Lisbon for 1/3 the price and many more amenities. The small size of the rooms was insane for the price. I think that I would have been happy here if I had paid about 1/4 of the price that I paid. When I saw the size of the room and asked for something larger, the dest clerk's response was: "you are in Paris, Madame" Internet stopped working during my 2nd day. Unbelievable that there was no minibar.
the location' the servuce at the front desk, the helpfull staff-front desk and the design.
The bed was extremely comfortable, free internet access, very quiet and calm. Shower was kind of awkward, but that's it. A great hotel.
The room was exceptionally clean and the hotel was situated in an ideal location. It was close enough to the Eiffel Tower but still in a very quiet suburb. The staff were helpful and the price was good.
The quiet location and the staff that made you feel at home. They all spoke good english thus making me feel more comfortable. All of them were willing to answer to any question I had in terms of sightseeing or transportation. They were very polite and always had a smile on their face. I will definitely stay there again. Rooms were delicately designed with a modern touch but had something classic as well. Such a remarkable combination. Everything was beyond my expectation. T Not really.Everything was perfect.Thank you Plaza Tour Eiffel and staff!!!
New, clean rooms with very good fittings and furnishings. Free wifi and friendly staff. Cramped rooms and hotel and limited facilities. Very expensive for the facilities and room sizes provided.
The breakfasts were nice, and the bed was really comfortable
Hotel was very clean, comfortable and staff very friendly. The hotel was very well placed for us just a few mins from Eiffel tower and well served to get into the centre of Paris. Area was very quiet and peaceful, would stay here again on next visit to Paris. No
hotel staff was great, very helpful nowhere around this hotel was open after 10pm! nowhere to get food (not even crepe stands) or restaurants, absolutely NO nightlife!
Friendly efficent staff. The walls in our room need a touch up on the paint/wallpaper
The room was dark, not particularly clean and smelly! The whole hotel urgently needs to be re-done. Everything is old. Don't take the breakfast - costs 12 Euro for a disgusting coffee and a croissant. You'll get much better stuff half price in neughbouring cafes. Overall: hotel not recommneded
Location is excellent for sightseers The safe in my room was not working and the staff didn't seem that bothered.Tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms would be a real plus.
I think the price for breakfast was to high comparing to what you received.
good location near to 3 metro stations hot temperature in the room
This is not a 3* but a 2*.
closeness to avenue kleber rooms dark, room decor should be renovated !!!!! and rooms should be better cleaned. Elevator extremely small
well priced in a very good location
