The information that was advertised on the website was inaccurate as they do not have a turkish bath and the customer service levels were very poor. After returning to our room one evening after being out all day we discovered that the housekeeper had left our bedroom door open all day. We told the hotel and they did nothing to acknowledge this grave mistake, very disappointing.
Modern, efficient. Nothing
Quiet location in a busy city, great rooms, free mini bar excellent idea! A few banging doors and didn't like the sensor light in the loo!!
Unique design to the rooms. Proximity to Atocha and art galleries in Madrid.
The style and comfort of the room and its easy location to the City and Atocha Railway Station Nothing
good and quiet location the prices of the mini-bar are too high
This is our second stay at this hotel, and I have to say, I don't understand the negative reviews! If we return to Madrid a third time, I would stay here again.
convenient to the train and other major transportatin, i.e. metro and major highways TVs very small and outdated
Nice clean hotel, good for a base if travelling around via Atocha, literally right next to the station. Basic but functional gym.
Great welcoming staff, spacious and comfortable rooms it is a bit far from the center of the city
The hotel is well situated and equipped, the staff is very nice and helpful and the restaurant also offers very good meals for reasonable price. The room was very hot and heating/conditioning could not be regulated to have pleasant temperature at night. I would also prefer twin beds to a double (and unstable) bed since when any of us turned it was shaking the bed so much that the other person was immediately awoken.
1) Room prices are illogical. We originally booked a double room according to what we understood were its size and features and upon arriving discovered that in reality it was a cubicle barely adequate to accomadate one person. We then changed rooms to a much better equiped junior suite with about triple the area of the former one but that only cost a fraction more per day. So, either the charge for the cubicle was excessive or the suite is a bargain (or we got lucky). 2) The hotel offers two types of Internet access: wireless and cable. The price of wireless is exhorbitant (as it seems to happen in Spain in general). There's no extra charge for cable access, but it is extremely slow.
Close to station, breakfast OK. Not really.
everything as expected !
close to Metro station, clean, pretty big room very noisy, bad air condition
Location is good, near metro station. Rooms in the hotel are very different in size, at first night we were given extra small double room, space was only for one person, but the room was changed when we asked about it.
It had easy access to the centre of Madrid and had all the facilities needed for a city break
A good hotel with helpful staff and in a great location
Location close to major city landmarks. Affordable price. Helpful staff. Small rooms. Limited menu of TV channels.
wi-fi, comfortable room poor breakfast, expensive parking
It was cheap and the location was ok. 2 nights of my 4 night stay I was woken up by the night porter playing his radio pretty loud at 5.30 in the morning.
The service of the staf and other personal ware kind and frendly For the price you can't expect more. It wil be helpfull if at least one person speak Englisch in the restaurant .
Location excellent for proximity to family and public transport. Wifi. Car parking. Air conditioning Room furnishings "tired". Poor breakfast
