All staff who we were in contact with were extremely polite and very friendly. Location of the hotel was fantastic.
beautiful well presented hotel with charming and welcoming staff there was nothing to dislike
The room was clean, comfortable, well furnished and the bathroom was a good size and well lit. I would have liked to have checked in earlier and checked out later but this was not possible apparently due to the high occupancy of the hotel.
The location was perfect for Lime Street Station and the city centre, and the staff were always friendly and helpful.
Good Hotel Close to Railway Station None
Location of the hotel and the excellent breakfast. Staff were also very helpful
Staff were very helpful and friendly; problem sorted very promptly, even by repairman who had come to the wrong room! No shampoo/conditioner
The best point of the hotel was it was very central The breakfast was not great and having to stand and make your own toast
Once out of Lime Street train station, I saw the hotel at the opposite side. That was really handy after 3 hours journey from London. Facilities are very clean, we enjoyed the leisure center. The breakfast was just perfect, no more comment needed! And the staff, I miss words to describe how friendly they were from the reception to the breakfast service up to the check out time. Thanks! With a mini-bar in the rooms, I think this hotel would deserve 5 stars status. Unfortunatelly there wasn't!
Restaurant/breakfast staff were exceptionally courteous, cheerful and industrious. Reception staff were cold and indifferent. Cancelled morning call for second morning but still happened. Woken at 6-15 Sunday which was avoidable if they had cancelled it as requested. When told about this the girl apologised in an indifferent way. Put us off returning.
Staff really friendly and helpfull, bar and resteraunt really nicely decorated with fabulous food.bedroom nicely done also.
The decor of the hotel made it very inviting and the staff were more than friendly in the reception and bar. The breakfast was very disappointing. We both had to leave it and go elsewhere which was extra expense..
Very central and well maintained hotel.Excellent Breakfast and food in general.Noisy on saturday night due to bar downstairs but it is saturday night afterall.Would definetely stay there again. Only thing is that it is not as close to train station as I first thought but once found easy to get too.
near to shops sour milk in room. no resedents bar ,private function on in bar could not get served
friendly staff ,great location on door step to most things street noise in wee small hours!
It has a very good position in the city centre. Very handy for seeing liverpool and close to the rail and bus stations. On the Sunday night there was a bit of noise from outside in the small hours of the morning from people leaving clubs
The location very close to Matthew Street and the nice bar within the hotel were plus points of this hotel
The room could have was smaller than expected .
Location Poor bathroom facilities and condition. Very noisy location, need secondary glazing
great location staff really friendly and helpful basic but clean
Staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and very cheerful!! Food was excellent and cleanliness of a very high standard Sadly not enough tea bags in the room and the shower gel container was empty but so minor when compared to the overall experience
The location was right in the middle of city centre right next to Lime street railway station, the staff were very hepful& friendly
Excellent staff overall, clean. I was not able to get a proper sleep for 2 nights since other guests (if I can call them like this - rooms 519 and 523) were drunk, bunging on doors at 02:00, 04:00, 07:00hrs, their children swearing in the corridors and pressing all buttons in the lift.....If you want to improve the situation black list them since you've got their names, I don't know them. But if you aim to have business people staying at your hotel who they work during the weekend and have to get up early in the morning you must monitor this situation.
Super service, extremely helpful Finding the hotel thru' the Liverpool traffic system is difficult.
The location was excellent for many of the venues in LIverpool and the breakfast was excellent The main reason we choose this hotel was for the Philamonic
centrally placed in Liverpool wit easy acces from railroad andwalking distance to the city centre nothing
hotel was perfect for shopping , it was near everything, & a very nice hotel. staff were not a bit pleasent , in reception ,
Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was spotless clean and the location is excellent,in the middle of the city center, wil be back.
All of the staff were brilliant the meals were beautiful and everyone was very helpful There was nothing i didnt like about this hotel
the hotel was in a good location and the afternoon tea was very good value the only thing that anoyed me was magazines were advertised in the package we took hotel said they didnt have any and it was not included in the offer also sunday paper was not delivered when asked about it they hadnt got any left
Great location, the rooms were fab and bed was very comfy. I expected it to be quite noisy but there was not much noise from the railway at all. Breakfast was great. An overall very pleasant stay and great value for money.
I loved the way the hotel was finished from the reception to the rooms. Nothing was shabby and was very tastefully decorated. The staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfast well exceeded my expectations, was fabulous, and even the dining room for breakfast was a superb room. My friend and I decided to have a meal in the hotel restaurant and the menu had a lot of choice on it and both of us loved the meal. I have never stayed here before and would highly recommend staying here to anyone. It's close to the train, city centre and ferry services and is a palace for a 3 star hotel. The red carpet is great for posing on!!! Nothing!! Well maybe no swimming pool!! Ha ha!! No nothing to change. Everything great, parking a fantastic bonus!
The rooms was clean. Excellent location, efficient staff, good breakfast and we got it at a good price.
A great hotel that ticked all the boxes! Nothing to report - the hotel is spot on!
Everything excellent..AS ALWAYS Un-faultable
Really could do with replacing the mattresses.Otherwise a fabulous hotel
Friendly helpfull staff Not applicable.
Great location, warm welcome, excellent food, helpful friendly staff. Real value for money. Will stay there again and would recommend to family and friends.
Comfortable Clean Football weekend, loud at times during the night - not too bad and my son wasn't woken!
The noise from the railway station was loud and distracting
friendliness not really
Close to all amenities in Liverpool City Centre none
The hotel is very central for shopping and the night life , the cavern club is only 150 metres away . with the hotel situated down a side street with no pubs or clubs it is very quiet on a night. The hotel was perfect for a city break.
it was very peaceful in the night we were on the top floor this may have helped, we had very comfortable nights sleep. all fine.
Family friendly, good size bedroom, clean The room was pretty cold, possibly the heater was not working fully
The hotel was very central, the staff friendly and helpful, rooms clean and comfortable and the food was good.
Not far from centre and great value for money
Friendly staff, nice atmosphere.
location, price a bit noisy, above all in rooms 8 to 14
Very good for City center & ALbert Dock. Good free phone service for taxis. Good food and bar service
huge room, high ceilings The hotel is based in a very busy night time area and it does not have soundproofing. The nightclub booming out until 5am meant that we didn't get any sleep. For a quiet night you need rooms 1 and 2.
I loved the decor of the hotel, funky and modern and the staff were friendly and very accomadating to us. The location is excellent with all the shopping and pubs on your doorstep. The only thing was that our room was at the back of the hotel which looked out onto part of the pub and niteclub scene of the city and was a bit loud especially over the weekend.
The room was gorgeous: huge and comfortable, if a little poorly maintained (lightbulbs out, curtain coming down from window) The area was very, very noisy till 2am, even on a Sunday. The wi-fi wasn't working, and staff - who were bar staff, not really hotel staff - didn't even know what it was. The restaurant and members bar was closed when I stayed, so had to go out in rain to eat. This is a great hotel for clubbers, central and great for a 'back to mine' after hours, but not for business - sadly, I was on a business trip.
Mr Rogers liked where it was situated with nice restaurants close by and thought the accomodation was very good. He has recommended it to our team and will stay again on his next visit.
