Super comfy beds . Great location. Rooms immaculately cleaned each day.

The location was great, less than 5 min. walk to metro station and near the main avenue. Quiet at night. Had Porto wine complimentary in room and wine and ginjinha available in lobby. Front desk staff was great.

The hotel is lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Free port supplied in the room, and free afternoon tea - what's not to like.
The location was not as central as we thought, but was within walking distance of the main centre, and probably quieter because of this.

Overview
The art-deco charm of Hotel Britania as part of a project by Cassiano Branco, the illustrious Portuguese modernist architect. Situated in a peaceful road right alongside the cosmopolitan Avenida da Liberdade. The only hotel to remain intact until today, this hotel records the glamour of the 1940s. The rooms conserve ample dimensions as well as the cork floor.
