Everything was perfect. None.
Quite and atmosphere
Nice location in a park and within walking distance of the center of Linz. Bus 26 stops across the road and takes you to the Hauptmarkt in less than 5'. Good restaurant and cosy bar. Free WiFi in all the rooms. Floor in the wellness area is very slippery, I fell and had to be taken to hospital.
Would Not recommend To go there again. Service Staff was unfriendly and we didnt get the Room Type we paid for. Our recommendation: Stay Away, there are much better Hotels in Linz for a Business Trip :-( Would Not recommend To go there again. nice design, good personell, good restaurant - a litle bit to expensive charged internet, price bigger than mobile phone internet, breackfast too expensive, spa service expensive too
air conditioning in our room We arrived by bike and the hotel directed us to a municipal car park that was open all night not into their own carpark
- The Staff was very fiendly. - The Room and Bathroom were very clean. - It had some amenities I was not expecting, like Hair Drier, Shampoo, Body Wash, Hair Caps, Nailfiles, Shoe Cleaner, Hand Cream. - The hotel looks kind of Old from the outside. - Breakfast was a little bit expensive (13Euros) Parking also (12Euros per day) . - We (my wife and I) asked for a double room and they gave us a room with two Twin Beds, this was not specified in the booking, so maybe it was our mistake because we did't ask for a Double Bed (Queen Size). - The bath tub was not quite OK, it was clean, but the drainage spout didn't work, so almost all the water remained inside the tub. We realized about it the next morning; but, because we only stayed for 1 night, we didn't ask for another room.
Very good and efficient staff
We had a lovely view of the danube and the mountains. the shower had good water pressure. The reception, bar and restaurant staff were courteous and efficient I was disappointed that there was no shampoo or moisturiser in the bathroom. I did not read the guest reviews.
The room decor. We can´t desconect the air conditioning during the night, so it was cold.
We enjoyed being in a hotel where we were aware of the antiquity of the building, whilst having very comfortable accommodation and friendly service.
rooms - location parking arangment
-Nice location in the heart of the city. -Restaurant and furniture.
Beautiful, old hotel. I liked very much that it was in the old town close to beautiful architecture and culture. Easy and fast to get to restaurants, shopping area and old buildings. Nice and helpfulness people working there. I chose this hotel also because it is very old and romantic. The bathroom has many tiles on the floor that were loose and could be lifted up. Room 34
Very friendly personnel
central location in the city
I had a central location and the old part of the city was all around. Parking was at a public but secure underground car park within 5 mins walk. It had period furniture and a very Austrian feel. Althouhg it had a period feel which was good, the hotel could be re-painted and smartened up. The breakfast was just adequate.
The hotel has a very good location right in the main square of Linz, very good for exploring the city. There is no parking of the hotel. Parking in the underground square, although in theory had a reduction offered for the hotel, was only available for stays of 2 or more nights (which was not indicated when doing reservation or in the hotel's website). In the end we had to pay 20 euros for less than a day parking. Besides, most rooms of the hotel are in a back extension which do not have views of the square. In fact they do not have views at all, my room just faced a wall of the next building. Based on these reservations I would not stay again in the hotel but would choose another one with in-site cheaper parking and with more natural light and views from the rooms.
Rooms quaint, very central. Linz was an exhausting experience (driving & trying to find parking) but hotel lovely!
The staff was great. Breakfast very good. Excellnt location.
Central location. No parking facility, limited bar hours (10pm close) and very limited choice of drinks etc.
the hotel is located in the city center and is very convenient for the transportation and sightseeing. there are no curtains available in the room on the roof. the facilities are old. the breakfast place is relatively small and smells when somebody is frying eggs.
Nice athmosfere and good food the church bells 6.00 am in the morning and after that every half hour
The hotel in the perfect place. Public parking not far from the Hotel. Suggestion to make a shot time parking place (load on/in) in front on hotel. The rooms are small but nice.
The hotel closes at 10PM which in our causd caused difficulties as we arrived at 11PM, staff attitude was not ideal
Location! We were in the Muehlveiertle room. The bed was so big that there was very little room to move around. The bed in this particular room was also very high (at least mid-hip high and I'm not a short person) so it was difficult to get in and out of.
The staff was friendly, hospitable and helpful and our room was clean and pleasant. Beds were comfortable. Morning breakfast was included and tasty. Hotel location is ideal for exploring Linz. I enjoyed the historic site of the hotel and its antique decor. Lobby was small but serviceable and sometimes filled with smoke from people at the bar in the next room. Elevators start up 1/2 flight of stairs and require you to ascend another 1/2 flight to get to each level. This is only really a problem for people with excessive luggage or the handicapped.
A lovely traditional hotel in the heart of the old town, superbly furnished, Persian rugs throughout, and comfortable spacious rooms. Great breakfast, and parking was available in a public garage a hundred meters away for 10 euros. The hotel was great, getting to it was tricky as streets were blocked for a festival. Be prepared to pay for parking. Restaurants in Linz are rare and full of smokers.
Room was too dark.
