This hotel is very old and sparse but clean. Could use updating current for charging electronic items or for international travellers.

Beautiful hotel from the Art Deco era.

Old and frayed
It is something your parents would’ve thought really nice 50 years ago. Make it 75 years ago. Although the Art deco Decour appears original it has been well-maintained.
It is a prime candidate for a major redo and have shiny 4 stars. There is a certain “aroma“ that shows it’s age.

For night owls
Location
Loud music until 3-4am from two neighboring night clubs! We were on the 5th floor with close windows and still couldn't sleep. Older receptions staff required paperwork. No other hotels asked me for one.

“Central location on river yards from station. Balcony overlooking busy road and river and views beyond. Yards from shops, cafes, historical sites. Beautiful lift with bench. Breakfasts really good, and open till 10am. Shame about the constant rain during 5 days in late Feb/early March.”
