Even though the hotel is very large, service is personal and everything works beautifully. The staff are exceptionally polite and friendly.

Excellent staff and service

The staff were particularly helpful and friendly in all departments whether in the restaurants, spa,gym, pool or front desk. We also enjoyed the dinners we had at the Thai and Italian restaurants and Next 2 for lunch. The singer in the Italian was a great entertainer also. We also liked the proximity to the river and being able to jump on a long boat for a trip down the river it also beats driving if you want to go somewhere across the river.!

We were please to see some renovation happening as there were certain areas that looked a bit "tired". I did not like long route to access the Gym and SPA from the main building. It seemed very much out of the way.

The staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. Also the facilities: being close to the river it was delightful to have an afternoon tea by the pool overlooking the river.

I didn't like the construction noise inside the hotel that started in the morning and only finished at night. very disappointing for a 5 star hotel.
