The Sofitel Frankfurt Opera hotel was just a wonderful place to stay. From the very friendly and helpful staff, to the exceptionally comfortable rooms that have any and every possible amenity that you may need during your stay, this truly made for a great experience. The So Spa, which has a sauna, pool, steam room and offers massages and other treatments is also a wonderful way to energize, rejuvenate and relax after a day of sightseeing. I would highly recommend the Sofitel Frankfurt Opera hotel to anyone looking for a 5 star experience while visiting Frankfurt.

Breakfast is very good.
Design over comfort. Every guest has to be instructed how to call an elevator system, and it is crazy and so badly designed, that the second time we had to ask for help again. There is no full-body mirrror in the room. The room is 35 sq m but there is no place for an extra bed for 5 y.o. child and for a bathtub. Swimming pool closes early, opens late and children are not allowed in there. That was absolutely unexpected for me, because we were in many hotels with pools, it was never the case. Definitely is not worth the price it costs.
