Riad Laaroussa

Riad Laaroussa was our first accommodation in Morocco and man did it set the bar high. The riad itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff is absolutely wonderful. Everyone is so hospitable, kind, and more than happy to help with any questions or issues you might have. We got great recommendations from the staff regarding where to buy pottery and where to eat. We stayed in both the Green Suite and Orange Suite. The Green Suite is gorgeous and massive, but funny enough I think I enjoyed the cozier Orange Suite, especially the sitting area. Both rooms are fantastic. Our first night we experienced the hammam and spa experience. I highly recommend the spa at Riad Laaroussa, especially if you'd prefer a personal experience with your partner. The hammam is gorgeous and very relaxing. Breakfasts on the terrace were a highlight of our stay. This was one of the best breakfasts we had on our whole trip. Location-wise, the riad seems to be in a great location. In the medina but set off slightly from the chaos, so much of what we wanted to see and do was close by. I mentioned the staff earlier but it really needs to be said again, the people at Riad Laaroussa are just lovely. Everyone is cheerful and so friendly, nothing seemed to be too much of an ask. A family with young children were guests the same time we were and it was so sweet seeing a couple of the staff members happily playing with the young kids. Seriously, don't think twice of staying here while in Fes. You will feel like family!
