Hotel staffs are very kind and well organize for all services. Hotel restaurant served excellent foods, specially fishes and sea foods and also waiters are very professional. Breakfast doesn't have variety.
the position is excellent the rooms were great and large with a wonderful view the breakfast was very poor and not value for money it also started to late at 8.15 we missed breakfast on our last day as we had to leave at 8.o clock
Easy to find on the main road and flanked by canals and boats.Nice big rooms with very nice bathroom and fittings. We also had a sunny balcony overlooking the canal.Very close to the beach and in easy driving distance of many nice attractions and old towns. The hotel had a lively but friendly Irish bar and a good seafood restaurant. It was an easy 1 hour driver from Girona Airport. Although the wine was very reasonable the meals seemed overpriced.
The staff were very helpful, the hotel is very clean and has been fitted to a high quality and is perfectly situated for access to the town centre
The rooms are very nice looking and clean, windows do a good job of filtering the street noise. 10 minutes walk from the beach, decent amount of parking around the hotel. Good value for money, considering that it's a resort hotel. The staff of the hotel seems to be the same as the restaurant - usually nobody at the reception. Restaurant downstairs is very overpriced - have to go a bit further to eat. Far from the beach relatively to most other hotels in the town.
A lovely part of Spain that would not be appreciated by all - as many prefer to play Bingo as I don't. I've visited this hotel for about six years now whilst passing through. It is excellent, clean, tidy, a superb Irish bar and as in most of Catalonia, they still have an ashtray at the bar; and probably the best furnished in every respect. The local food is very good and comes at an affordable price. It's heaven for God's sake. Normally I live in the south of France when I'm at home; but this beets it in every respect. Don't tell everyone! It's 586Km from where I live.
Fine were: retaurant, lovation, stuff, room, Pool, nearby boattrip, retsuarant location, climatisationt, price, parking place street between hotel and pool
good gym facility, views, no spa facility
On arrival the outside of the hotel is basic looking, reception is spotless & very friendly.our room was at the back of the hotel 214 - lovely room, V.comfy & V.clean, (we have stayed in 5* rooms more basic than this one) with amazing veiws overlooking the canal & mountains, was a lovely suprise! We were slightly dubious about the irish bar but it turned out to be a real locals hang out just playing brit music in the evenings, although loud we couldnt hear it from the room at all. it is a beautiful 10 min walk to the beach with places to eat & drink all the way.I Chose the area only as we were skydiving. we couldn't have had a better weekend in such a beautiful, friendly town - we were not hassled once to eat/buy anywhere, very refreshing!! Not really a complaint but would have been nice to have been advised before arrival that the pool is across the road from the hotel. this would not be suitable for a single parent. this didnt turn out to be a prob for us just a bit strange!
The staff were very helpful ,yet again !! Especially the very nice young lady from Uruguay.
It was close to the dropzone, and seeing as this was a skydiving trip, this made it ideal - and nicer than the Castell Blanc which is the other nearby hotel.
The rooms were kept clean and tidy. The pool area wsa ok. There was alot to dislike about this hotel, the food wasn't fresh, the breakfast was usually solid after being left out. The staff were unhelpful, after I had made a complaint. The walls are very thin, so noise travels through the hotel, they played loud music late into the night on a tuesday, even through there wasn't actually anyone in the bar.
conditioning air ; silence ; breakfast and pool parties when you come the first time, you're not aware about card using : how to put it into the card reader to display light.
The man on the front desk was the friendliest and most helpful of all the hotel personnel that we have encountered in Spain. The sound-proofing between walls was very bad.
Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, rooms kept to a high standard. Pool area was a nice escape from the heat of the day. The hotel is very loud, noises seem to echo through walls as if they were very thin. In hotel entertainment on Tuesday night (playing to 4 people) could be heard on the 2nd floor late into the night. Breakfast is substandard and not to be recommended, bread/pastries hard, food unprotected from insects.
Friendly, clean, very convenient for the drop zone. Good proximity to town. Food was very good. Bar had a lovely relaxing ambience. very noisy. Paper thin walls.
Location was excellent, staff very helpful, had a great time with the family. Breakfast was very basic and not to our taste.
Good location, room was big(for 2)nice view(room 501) Booking on line was a nightmare! I booked for the 14/15th but when I recieved the confermation it was for the 13/14th(and still don't know if it has been cancelled,we phoned the hotel to cancel they knew nothing about it! So since then i've been watching my bank account.anyway we went without booking, and low and behold there was room at the "inn", we took a room for 2/4 personnes, towels for 2, 2 chairs on the balcony,as for the kitchenette, there were couverts for 4 people,!!! But just one saucepan!!! Not even a microwave!!and the fridge,it took all day to freeze a few ice-cubes, as for the resturant, the evening buffet was very poor,(17?pp)not much of a varity on the salad bar!(only if you like peppers!!)as for the hot stand, you really had to be hungry to choose something, and what's more it all looked dried up,we were glad to get back to our room to tuck into some of the shopping we had bought in the afternoon,
Situation swimming pool The common parties were not so clean.
right beside beautiful beach. right beside a v long country walk for miles beside a riverbank. fresh bed linen and towels and room cleaned every single day even Sunday. great views of spectacular scenes of beaches, bay and mountains. right beside loads of restaurants and shops. nice swimming pool. 4 good lifts. a bit of noise at night from street below however back of hotel would be quieter. we prefered seaview so it was worth a bit of noise from people outside and it wasnt loud if we shut balcony doors.
Big complex, very impersonal, smell of sigarettes in the room... but good price off course. Only tolerable out of season
Everything was fine (except air aconditioned, which you expect for a three stars apt-hotel) and we will come back (avoiding the hot periods). No air aconditioned. The wifi didn't work for both of our computers (and not precisely because of our lack of expertise).
Unbeatable price for a room for 4! Totally clean and basic, but it suited us perfectly.
Price vs quality one of the least in the environment. There are much better locations. Breakfast was really poor.
The provision of clean bedding and towels on a daily basis.Location was good for our purpose. Two single beds pushed together do not make a comfortable double bed which we requested. The 1st room we were offered had a dreadful view of untidy properties. The hotel reception was in need of decoration and gave a poor first impresssion.
The hotel offers a fair value for money, has a great location and a friendly staff. Furniture is not new, but the beds were good and bedlinnen was changed every day. When you pay approx. € 110,00 per night for a 4 person apartment (breakfast excluded), the it offers a fair value for money. Everything in the hotel is 'used' and the entire hotel would benefit greatly from a big maintenance operation, new furniture in the rooms, etc.
Excellent breakfast and room with balcony overlooking the beach and our car parked over the road in public car park The hotels private car park is a ten minute walk from the hotel but the 12 euro 24hour public park across the road is well lit at night and secure
All included, breakfast, dog, WiFi (reception), parkering No WiFi in room
I was given an ocean view room which was unexpected. The room was large for Spainish standards and clean. The staff were very accomodatng. The breakfast was average, however the overall price compensated for that.
Hotel was simple, but very clean and plenty comfortable.
The location, the staff, the rooms.
excellent location, very helpfull staff, very pleasent stay Breakfast is really over at 10:00 and after 9:45 you can´t get almost anything. We were on vacation and wanted to sleep a bit more
great friendly staff and very very clean
Location, price, room spacious
It was in a good location on the seafront in Roses and there are restauruants/bars nearby. The buffet breakfast and room were reasonable but nothing special. Very limited facilities - bar and restaurant closed most of the time. Nothing in the evening or even self service machines. I know it was November, but some facilities for residents would have been useful.
We had room with nice view of sea and surrounding mountains, the hotel room looked upscale with tiled floor, wood furniture and marble bath. Inside the hotel was nicely decorated with wooden and fresco type painting. The breakfast was simple but good quality. It was nice to have free parking and internet. In addition, the hotel is located just on the beach, which was very convenient as well. I definitely stay here again. It was a problem to make international call, had some problem with activation of my credit card. As result, paid for stay in cash.
sea view, hotel is located very close to the beach
Full of cheap package tours, too many people smoking in certain areas of hotel and meals a bunfight. Food rated fair only.Hotel ill equipped to deal with flood water making access to our car impossible when we needed to leave. Please see above
The hotel was good value, on the beach and an excellent stop over point trevellin back to the UK from further south in Spain. I would not hesitate to use it again
This hotel is excellent price/quality. Ideal for us. Easy to find on entering Roses. Its location is great, calm area, on beach with great views of Roses Bay. Buffet lunch value at 14 euros. We are oldies, spent one night and really enjoyed our stay. Very clean, quiet, and close to all amenities. Good place for base to tour elsewhere. Parking next to hotel. Staff helpful. Definitely return.
slept well, for it's location it was amazingly quiet. It was convenient for the reasons we were there.
location and the friendliness of the staff, however there could be more variety at the breakfast buffet!
On the beach. swimming pool "large" like a bath. terrible breakfast luckely included in the price of the room. far from the city center and from restaurants.
The position of the hotel, the town itself, and general friendly staff.
Views from room , tea or coffe making facilities in room should be considered
Great staff, a great location (right on the beach), great breakfast The rooms could use an upgrade.
location and facilites uncomfortable bed and having to pay for spa at weekends even though it was only thursday no iron and ironing board available
Generally this is a clean hotel with a great location being close to the beach, the town centre and the mountain resorts. The hotel is to recommend if you to explore the sourroundings. The rooms are more on the small side and there was a bad smell of old water in the hallway for several days. Although we prefer firm beds rather than soft ones, our bed was extremely hard and reminded us of laying wooden beams. Although the hotel restaurant has good reviews, the food at the hotel bar unfortunately was not to our taste (blend and uneventfull) is not recommendable.
it reflected a personal...family owned .... what a wonderful surprise... we weren't expecting it from your web-site but would have stayed longer had we known... simply a wonderful vacation experience...
Rooms were large and clean with great view of the sea. Air conditioning was not turned on even though it was quite warm. Spa and fitness areas were closed on Sunday when we arrived (this was one of the reasons we booked this hotel - we were not advised in advance.
Good location and high class hotel. Was a fair choice for northern Costa Brava northren part tour. Too expensive for what you get. Prices are similar to "same class״ hotels in Barcelona. The spa was far from being impressive, not relevant to winter days.
Feeling of individuality -not part of a chain. no groups
Wonderful hotel with great staff. Would definitely stay again. Had great time due to their hospitality.
A very comfortable hotel at an extremely reasonable price. Outstanding value for money!
A very friendly welcome.
The quality of the room and balcony.
ROOM WAS SPACIOUS AND CLEAN ENTERTAINMENT FINISHED AT 10PM - CATERED TO CHILDREN OR PARENTS - POOL IS SMALL FOR THE SIZE OF THE HOTEL AND TAKEN OVER BY CHILDREN
Pool area was very well kept and plenty of sunloungers. Most staff very helpful. Was very noisy and crowded in the evening as there appeared to be a large group staying there. They were not very polite and didn't even make a route to the bar area available. Breakfast again very noisy and lots of pushing and rudeness.
nice room, not expensive in low season. no wifi in the room.
Near of center and sea
good value for money floor in the rooms - no carpet
Good location near the sea and good breakfast Nothing
Is close to the beach and shops. This hotel is not worth it. It has not air conditioned and the room was really small. Too expensive for what it is.
Warm welcome from staff,Beautiful Sea View, & excellent Breakfast
Sauna)) Breakfast) They have a problems with the water.
Excellent location, staff very helpful, Comfortable ,large room and ensuite.Breakfast very good and varied. We stayed for six nights late september and we would highly recommend this hotel. Very good value for price. Hard to find fault for price and location Very good all round
The location of the hotel was excellent, next door to the castle, across from the sea. The coffee at breakfast from a vending machine was a bit in poor taste, especially when espresso machine was available but not included.
Good breakfast. Pleasant management.
The quad room we stayed in was large and comfortable, modern and clean.
Very helpful staff who responded immediately to guest requests(if these were possible) Unable to get a twin-bedded room on the first night but did subsequently
Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was great (we were in the new part with a large balcony) Good location Air conditioning did not appear to be working
Excellent location, nice and home-like atmosphere.
Everything was very good. The size of the rooms, the cleanliness, the location. We went in November so I'm not sure whether the summer months would be a bit noisier. We would definitely stay there again (and probably will in January).
somebody i9n the reception wasn´t very helpfull with the information
The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was very good
excellent second visit will be back again friendly helpful staff clean rooms excellent food.
Staff speaks english; good breakfast, 15 min walk to the beach. The room and bathroom was not clean; dirty towels; ants in the room; very thin walls; no soap in the bathroom.
The price was incredibly high for the type of hotel. For some reason, you pay for Roses which is not beautiful at all.
Good location Bit overpriced
friendly helpful staff clean room excellent food second visit will be back
Hotel location, efficient staff, clean room, big room and bathroom, balcony Breakfast could be better
room comfort room smell
fairly priced, good breakfast, reasonably close to sea and restaurants, easy to get to by car. Food is good, broadwalk in the evening promedate was a plesant experience. Nice view from balcony. As a resort hotel quite noisy and crowded. Slow elevators, parking is a nightmare. Found a spot around nearby canal - 15 minutes away on foot.
nice clean room, quiet the lift
the breakfasts no air conditioning in the room
quite rooms breakfeast good but lacked fruit reception very slow they prefered to answer all incoming calls25 miutes to get booked in
I recomend it
good for children and teenagers very loud disco, difficult to put baby to sleep
the proximity of the beach bread ,croissant not fresh
Breakfast was very poor, parking was difficult, hotel was dated, no balcony or even a view
Nothing Hotel dated, unclean and staff not highly motivated
Service and comfort -attitude of the staff was excellent.location near town centre and all facilities was good.Overall a very good choice. Parking was difficult.
Great location, overlooking the beach and in the heart of the town. I had a great room on the front / top floor with a great terrace and sea view. There was also a fridge and mini kitchen in the room which was useful. The hotel was a little dated - think posh 80's hotel - but I quite liked that and it was perfect for my 2 day visit to Roses. The (seafood) restaurant is good. I can't fault it really.
Excellent Sea view and breakfast.
During the off peak periods this hotel is excellent value. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and include some self catering equipment. The location is good, near the beach and within the old town of Roses providing access to it's many bars and restaraunts. Our room was slightly worn and needed some upgrading but as stated above still clean and comfortable.
We were on our way to Barcelona, and found this place very refreshing and reposing. the hotel was a nice surprise, big suite apartment, nicely decorated and quiet as it's March.Great breakfast buffet. The personel was very pleasant and helpful It's true , it could be a difficulty for parking at peak times, we had to juggle with bags, where we could, as it was busy when we arrived. It was more of a problem for my husband as it is confusing when you don't know the city,
We liked the location of the hotel and the room to accomodate our family of four. No services available. No internet connection proposed. No help in the front desk practically inexistent.
Friendly staff, central location, great view No parking, breakfast not great
Location, sea view, excellent restaurant downstairs Lack of tea and coffee cups in the apartment, cigarette smoke in the hallways.
atmosphere in hotel (guests), friendly and helpfull employees/staff too little shade around pool and poolbar, (the few umbrella's available where broken/not suitable for the wind) , not possible to book for rooms with airconditioning
Staff were friendly and the hotel was quiet at night;; for a hotel by the beach it was adequate Breakfast was so unpleasant even although it was included in the price we didn't go back after the first morning and didn't attempt the evening meal.Rooms extremely hot even with the air con machines on 24/24
nice place internet was failure
friendly and helpful staff No fruit for breakfast - but you can take your own.
we like everything the food especially.....
The staff are very friendly and this hotel has a genuine family atmosphere. The same staff have been working at the hotel for years. Could improve the evening entertainment
Cleane room, nice staff. Stink of sewerage outside the hotel
Quiet. Staff were amused when we spoke Spanish, although we speak French too. We are Irish. Thanks for the private Parking.
very sophisticated design of the rooms and the hotel itself; moreover hotel is placed in the beautiful countryside, between beaches of picturesque town named Roses and the national park nearby Cap de Creus, giving you the possibility to admire truly awe-inspiring landscapes; ideal for a romantic trip ;); I would definitely recommend this hotel.
excellent location, unfortunately not warm enough to enjoy the great garden an pool. love the room with open bathroom/ jacuzzi and seperate toilet. great tasting food in the restaurant with reasonable prices. Some great home made deserts. missing a complete door on the toilet so you the other person doesnt have to enjoy the smell
Nice sightseeing, nice bedrooms and nice countryside area no separations between bathroom and bedroom (no door between the two), not enough insulation as well
The room was very nice and the restaurant was excellent. The staff were helpful and kind The portable A/C unit in the room was new but noisy and not functional. The hotel would have been better advised to install another system. up to four silent room units can be installed on one outside compressor for probably a similar cost. i hope this comment is paased on as it is intended to be constructive.
Quiet location The hotel did not cater for the English at all. Rooms were very basic, no sun loungers, no parasols. It took half an hour to get a drink. Food was poor.
The buildings are very nice and so is the setting - an original farm at the foot of the hills of a nature reserve, away from the concrete blocks of Roses. The staff were very nice and friendly/helpful. The rooms were last removated some time ago and the furniture, interior decoration and facilities could do with an upgrade soon - looks like 1970s right now. Some facilities like water glasses, bedside tables both sides of the double bed (not just one) etc were missing. Breakfast should start earlier than 9AM. We booked this hotel at a 50% discount. On the full rate, it would have been unthinkable.
very friendly staff
Acceptance of pets, ease of access to countryside. The litter problem is sad.
The old building was very attractive and the room was unique in its design. The location out in the country was very restful. There was no heat in the room on a cool night. The lighting did not cover important areas of the room. Although the stone sink was very attractive, it was not practical for washing. Instead of the exercise machine in the room, it would have been better to have a place to keep your baggage so that it could be accessed without putting it on the bed
I loved the location, friendly service qnd view of the Sea.
The best thing about this hotel is its location. We had a room overlooking the sea and it was really nice; the balcony is big enough to sit and enjoy the view. The area is quiet and very nice for long walks on the shore of the sea. The room was updated and nice decorated and the breakfast was also ok. We did not appreciate the cleaning of the room - even if the cleaning service was daily, the sand or dust on the floor and on the carpet was not removed.
he view of the water and that we had a balcony opening to hear and see the sounds The staff at the service desk was less than hospitable.
A good hotel in a great location. We enjoyed our short stay. Excellent breakfast. The hotel walls are too hin and you can hear the rooms next door & above. However, they did move us when we complained. WiFi was not available in the rooms.
easy acces to the beach, superb service by all hotel staff The swimming poolwater was so filthy, it caused earinfection in two of our family. This is a well known problem by all medical staff in hotels that dont replace the water often enough.
Perfect location with a modern but comfortable feel. Very helpful and polite staff. We'll be back.
Excellent hotel, very good value for money, and lovely staff. Breakfasts excellent. Just a little far out of Roses itself, but easy to drive into Roses and leave a car there. Super position right on the beach with a couple of nice cafes there. Altogether thoroughly recommended
Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Very friendly staff. The buffet breakfast was very good as other options in the area may be limited. Our room overlooking the sea was very spacious and clean. The evening meal in the restaurant was reasonably priced but not very good. The hotel should perhaps consider reducing the variety on the menu and concentrate on quality & taste. This was the only disappointing aspect of our stay.
Next to sea. Our room (211) sea view was blocked by trees, hotel was full so no change possibility... parking was a mess, hotel had very limited parking (even they advertise parking) and they did not know which day I could get the parking slot (probably loudest in the morning gets the parking lots), luckily behind the next corner was private parking (4e/day) which had space and which we were able to use... at the end we learnt which time to arrive to get free parking from the street (9pm).
Well presented, clean, comfortable, friendly and efficient. Nothing
Spacious clean room with a fine breakfast included. Right beside beach and other amenities. Air conditioning in rooms would be a major improvement
The closeness of the beach and other amenities was a real bonus, together with a great swimming pool It is in a popular area and the area was noisy until late
good location, sounds of the sea at night small bathroom
Nice beachside location. The beach was groomed every morning. No air conditioning, and very noisy night life when patio door left open. None of the hotel staff we encountered was able to speak english. Would have been better if you spoke Spanish. Still having trouble making sure bill had been paid (due to communication gap), but Booking.com people have helped very much to take on that responsibility. Happy to know they were available to assist!
Easy parking out of season. Size of room. Breakfast very good selection The wash basin very shallow
excelent location, clean room, nice breakfast no parking
The desk staff are really friendly and efficient. We were greatful to have a reasonably priced place to stay in a sold-out area at the height of the season. One really nice touch is complementary soft drinks and mineral water in the room fridge. Rather uncomfortable beds and no aircon - lots of families and an unwittingly amusing guy sings into the night umpah versions of popular numbers such as 'achy breaky heart' accompanied by a loud organ whilst people line dance! Mornings promise the rousing sound of beach paddle tennis to prepare for a classy breakfast - cattle class - I attempted to get a soft boiled egg and gave up. In fairness the hotel was full to capacity and the staff coped admirably.
Good standard .no air condishing which was needed at times .
The hotel is placed in a nice area, it's quite clean and at nights there were some musical events (during my stay it was a big fiesta at Catalonia - St. Jose). Big advantage that they offer a meal with 14 euros per person and you can eat as much as you want, including wine and water You have to avoid rooms at the backside at the first 2 floors because of poor view and noise from the ventilation. Ask for upper floor rooms. Suprisingly they cleaned our room at 14:30 (when we wanted to go for a nap)!!! Many old people (this is propably an advantage because of more silent). A very rude responsible lady for the lunch meal...
Entrance hall is nice. Room are not as in the picture of hotel presentation. It is showed a suite and one can believe it is a regular room you are going to book. No, rooms are 4 x 4 meters.... very small and typically spanish, old faision furnitures. So the price (I paid 95 euros...) should be 35 euros, this would be regular price we would pay in any similar hotel, same dates. Also swiming pool is nice but very durty with plenty of things inside...
Staff could not have been more helpful. Very nice hotel.
it was nice and peasfull
the hotel staff were very helpfull and kind and as i was disabled made sure had a room near the left plus they gave me a room with a big balcony for me and my dog which was very helpfull would stay at this hotel again
Everything was excellent, staff very helpful.
Quiet area but rather industrialised but the staff were excellent, especially during dinner as the girls serving were very humerously funny. A nice touch on our rather long journey from Calais to Málaga, No.
Location and relaxed atmosphere No
Pool was very nice, Food OK can recommend a stay there. You should be aware of the industrial surrounding (small airport, Go-kart course)
Pool, room higeine Breakfastn could have been nicer, breakfast are could have been cleaner. Location
Easy access, clean and pool was inviting The breakfast was a bit poor, selction was low and quality of bread and jams cheap. Coffee machine was always blocking.
The buffet breakfast and dinner. Also the huge pool The rooms did not look like the ones in the brochure. They were small and dated.
The swimming pool, the gym and the breakfasts
It was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice and quiet if you go there with a family. The pool was massive and there are a lot of facilities - I.E. tenis courts, games rooms, ping pong, a mini cinema. Rooms were very basic, tv's only had 3 channels and didn't have a remote control (they were practically touching the ceiling). The bar only opened at certain times, 6pm in the eve and shut early. It's a very quiet hotel, not good for younger people. You couldn't buy bar snacks either, you had to wait for the set menu for lunch. Food for lunch wasn't so great, brekkie was fine though.
Facilities, quiet room with nice balcony, good buffet
very comfortable, quiet and outside the bustle of town but conveniently placed.will return
Easy free parking. Generous choice of breakfast. Pleasant staff (however, I speak Spanish) Large pool area kept clean and tidy. Low bar prices. Quiet residential area. Great views. The bedrooms need renovation. The bathrooms have been modernised and are good, but the plain wooden furniture is scratched and tired. One simple chair, a plain wooden desk. The tv was an old type, and small (15" screen). Irritating was having to pay on arrival, having to put a deposit for the tv remote-control, and having to pay up-front to use the telephone. All in all the price is rather high - for not much more, I stayed at various Paradores. But it was a holiday (San Juan)
great views and the rooms are big. I had an extra large terrace which was fabulous with sunbeds and best of all , private! no. breakfast was fine. after 5 days got repetitive but really lots of things to choose from and good quality.
Everything, I had been there before and it was nice to be remembered. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The buffet food is the best I've ever had at any hotel and there's always plenty of choice.
The comfortof the hotel was good and the meals were fine and reasonably priced.
The hotel is situated in a residenciel area just above Roses. It is very quiet with a beautiful view over the mountains from the outdoor pool. The pool itself is beautiful and extremely well kept. Indoor pool closed as it was the end of the season.
Good place, excellent meal, garage. Poor change shampoos snd soaps -two times in five days it is not inaf.
We loved the facilities, food and room. The staff where excellent and we had no problems with languages even though we don't speak spanish, thanks for a lovely stay
The facilities, the location The smell in the rooms (disinfectant?)
excellent food - breakfasts and dinners. located very close to the sea and the centre of roses. nice pool and the interior of the hotel and rooms. the staff did not speak english
Clean and the owner/manager was very helpful. breakfast was good. sheets and towels clean. Completely shut up when we arrived and looked deserted. nowhere to go and have a drink as everything was totally shut up.
The location; it was a 5min walk from the beach. (1) Rooms: It should have been mentionned that the beds were cots and not matresses; (2) We had an unpleasant experience when we asked whether we could use the hotel fridge to store a bottle of gaspacho which we opened but did not finish (gaspacho will spoil in the heat). There were no fridges in our rooms, and the hotel refused to keep it in their fridge for us. (3) Food: At breakfast time, coffee was not good (tasted burnt and sometimes way too much water) and bread was stale a few times. (4) Although according to your website, free public parking is available at a location nearby, it should be mentioned that parking is usually full and it is time-consuming to find a spot as the hotel has no reserved spots. (5) Value for $ was not great.
Location is ok, rooms are basic and super old, no soap or shampoo, no A/C, no much space, noisy..toilet is just fine, shower a bit funny... reception is open till 2330 only, breakfast is ok thou... Said above, this hotel maybe was nice, now it is not so pleasant...considered the plenty of choices around it.
