The Space The Garden Room is our premiere room - spacious, with a good library and walk-out to the large secluded deck. Extraordinary Grander revitalized water runs from every tap in the house. Bath is private or semi-private if another guest occupies the adjoining room. There is an optional spa tub as well. It may be possible for you to rent the two rooms together, depending on their bookings. Guest Access You are welcome to enjoy the garden, the park across the street, the subtle luxury of a well-loved home. You're half a block from direct transit to the LRT in minutes. You have kitchen privileges with both the Garden Room and Uniquely Mediterranean Edmonton. There is a wood-burning fireplace in the living room, parking is free on the street and when needed you can park on the edge of the driveway. Interaction with Guests I'm here when you need me and you're on your own when you don't. Ask me anything - I know where things are and how to get things done. The Neighborhood Houses here were built in the 70's and the neighborhood includes single family bungalows, condos, apartments and some social housing. I find it safe and enjoyable to walk any time of the day or night and usually find others doing the same. Getting Around Excellent transit access - 2 buses within 1/2 block and 2 more within 3 blocks shuttle between Southgate and Century Park LRT stations. Minutes to the LRT. Walking distance to the largest library outside of downtown as well as to great restaurants, coffee shops, gyms and sport shops, Save-On Foods, Chapters, a TNT Supermarket, a Clinic and much more. In 2016 a Whole Foods will also be within walking distance. Other Things to Note I have a Labrador Retriever in training to be a service dog. He is so friendly yet so respectful, he has helped 3 guests who were terrified of dogs, find comfort and enjoyment with him. He is not allowed in the sitting area nor in guest rooms.
