The facility and beach
We had problem since we arrived at this place was the horrible experience of our life. They lock us out of our room for couple times and we had a fight because my brother in law pay as a gif and they want he at the front desk to show the credit card...

Oceanfront room was amazing - beautiful, spacious, clean. The private jacuzzi on the balcony facing the ocean was spectacular. Location of restaurants and pools were easy to navigate and convenient. The staff were friendly and personable. Great service, great staff, great deal. I have already recommended to friends and family!
I wish there were more adult and nightlife activities available. I understand it’s a family resort though, so it makes sense that majority of things are more family friendly. I also wish the beach area sectioned off for the hotel was bigger.

The entertainment staff were excellent. There was so much for everyone to do, from beach soccer, water polo, water aerobics, the list is endless.
Where to start? Checking in we were told that our room had only been booked for 2 adults even though we have booked the family room. We were charged an additional $1000. We were then directed to a group of staff who were to tell us about the resort facilities. We were told that there was a special breakfast for us the following morning to welcome us as first time guests. We turned up for our special breakfast at 8:30am and sat waiting in reception. 30 minutes later i told them i wasn't interested, as the kids were getting hungry and they didn't want to sit in the foyer all day. I had my suspicions that we were being dragged into a time share sales pitch anyway. When we told them we were leaving, we felt enormous pressure to stay. The sales people followed us and made us feel very uncomfortable. To keep the peace we agreed that my husband and i would attend as it was only a 40 minute presentation. The presentation went for 4 hours. We were only staying at the resort for 3 days, so we wasted most of the first day trying to get away. We were very clear from the very beginning that we were not interested and that we needed to leave, but the pressure kept on coming. We finally escaped well after the 4 hours, and went to the pool with the kids. The resort is all inclusive, and I went to the bar to get a well deserved drink. Here I noticed that the glasses used at the bar were not washed by machine. They were simply thrown into a tub of water and swished around a bit. Certainly not enough effort or soap to remove any germs that had been on them from all of the people who used them before. I even saw people taking dirty glasses from the bar to use as cups for the post mix machines. I was nearly sick. Everything felt dirty. Our room was covered in dust. The shower had mould, there were piles of dirty room service dishes in the hallways and stairwells. It is sold as a 5 star resort, but i have stayed in better 3 star resorts.
