Expensive but typical euro pricing
The staff was very friendly! The coffee machine in the room was awful!
The staff was excellent, especially the concierge (a 40 (?) year old man with glasses). The room is ok, but the TV has only 2 English channels (news) despite having so many other channels. It is quite expensive for the quality. No one should have to pay for wi-fi internet!! Room was not ready when I arived in the morning from USA.
shower, bed, bar restaurant was closed
the hotel was just nextdoors to the conference centre. A 5 seconds walk.
it was an Excellent Hotel. clean, quite. good location, good sttaff. NOTHING
Everything was superb!! The staff at front office and the concierge desk excel and offer very professional service. Simply outstanding.
All good, except internet price. Internet has to be payed in all locations. At least at the lobby it would be expected to have free access.
Extremely comfortable, good food and excellent service
Everything was wonderful. I loved the special winter rate! That we had to leave.
Ideally located for my visit; great to have the Place Jourdan on the doorstep. Very comfortable bed, and good shower. When we needed a taxi straightaway, it took a long time (about half an hour) to arrive, and the concierge disappeared.
The hotel must provide a smoking-area, or a kiosk outside the hotel for the smokers to be protected from the cold and rain while they smoke.
The staff we very friendly and helpful on desk. They also let me have a late check out at no extra cost! B'fast was a very wide selection Dont bother eatting in the hotel in the evening. Over priced, not great service and food was just about standard! However in the bar very friendly and cheaper bar snacks
My room was very spacious, positioned at 5th floor very quite, which is very important for a business trip. Amreican breakfast was excellent, stuff fast in refilling empty plates. Sauna and pool servise is very good, not to crowded, so one can enjoy there time in sauna as long as they want.Staff at the reception very well informed and happy to help.
Easy walk to city center, good bus service, and nice resturant very close. Room was very quiet and buffet breakfast was excellent. Entire staff was very helpful/friendly. Free covered parking was a bonus.
The hotel is clean, comfortable and ideally located for my purposes. The staff are friendly and cheerful. This is not the first time I have stayed here, and certainly not the last.
design, swimming pool, breakfast that fact that Juzzi didn't work.
They gave us a executive deluxe suit instead of a deluxe room because we arrived late and deluxe rooms has finished. Suit was very big, comfy and clean. Parking is 21 euros for a night, internet connection is expensive. Also they billed us the breaksfat but the it must be included to our reservation so we have to show them our booking papers. And dont use minibar.
Your hotel was an excellent choice! It was very clean, the staff was extremely helpful!!! Especially one of the bellhops and I wish I took his name because he really went above and beyond to be helpful! It was an amazing value for our money! The breakfast was excellent too.
good location, service, rooms and breakfast. would definitely stay there again
I liked the swimming pool, the sauna, the room and the breakfast is very good When we arrived the room was not ready, which was a bit annoying. We were promised bathrobes to go swimming but it took them 2 hours to bring them to the rooom. However with check out we were offered our minibar expenses for free which was very kind.
We stayed for 6 nights in July and very satisfied with our stay. We initially booked a standard room but felt it very tight for 2 people with 2 large suitcases. We were going to be there for 6 nights so we upgraded for the suite for a little extra. We did not try the restaurant or the bar. Pros: The hotel is neat, location is great. Its about 15-20 min from downtown, but very close to public transport. (Bus stop - Science or Metro: Troon) Its also very close to Luxembourg plaza and the EU Parliament. The room we stayed had street view and despite being on the road side wasnt that loud. The breakfast was a good spread. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked for firm beds, but since they didnt have any they were able to arrange for planks under the mattress as a workaround. They even gave us vouchers for free drinks at the bar for opting to conserve water/energy by not asking to change linens/sheets daily. Cons: The mattress is very soft. If you have a bad back then the mattress is not good. I upgraded to the suite hoping I can use the pull out couch, but still struggled almost all of the 6 nights. The hotel tried to arrange for wooden planks to be placed under the mattress, but it only helped a little. Our room had very low internet wifi. When asked they offered a highspeed network at a cost, but it didn't matter because our room has low signal for any wifi connection.
Comfy clean room with with good bed, great breakfast, well located near centre and European district
good location, good customer service room too small, too cramped
Neat, clean hotel. Our room, the breakfast room and the bar were far too warm. The breakfast room was too small, creating long lines for the buffet and a chaotic atmosphere in the dining area.
Spacious rooms, very clean and quiet environment. One of the receptionists was kind enough to allow us print out travel documents free of charge. Morning breakfast setting, the service was extremely poor, staff appeared uncaring and unresponsive to the needs of guests. I witnessed staff and management eating food from the breakfast buffet from their hands, in full view of seated dining guests - astounding!?
Confortable hotel, good service, convenient breakfast, nice room ( this time) and near to our meetings in Brussels.
The hotel was clean, the rooms are comfortable, the staff - polite, breakfast was tasty. I did not like that there are no smoking rooms and only for this reason maybe I will not stay there anymore. It is terrible to go outside for every cigarette.
breakfast room long queue for check out - no express check out
Cosy atmosphere Room small, limited choice of breakfast buffet.
Breakfast and service. It is situated in the city. The water
The hotel is very new and is in great shape. The rooms were gorgeous and really comfortable and modern. The staff was very helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone especially if you can get a good deal on booking.com The location is out of the center of Brussels, but it really didn't bother me. You just need to take public transportation either on the metro or the bus and the staff is very helpful in telling you what you need to take.
First impressions is of a lovely hotel close to bus services and metro. When you enter the hotel it feels very welcoming very friendly and helpful staff. The bar area seating is very comfortable. The Grab and Go food counter is very good and constantly replenished. The corridors are beautifully decorated. as you enter the room it is very spacious and well laid out a lot of thought went into the design of the rooms. Every facility is available in the room even down to having an Iron ironing board fridge , tea making facilities and wide screen TV. the shower is fantastic. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in and would not hesitate to stay there again. I would certainly recommend it.
This property was in a great location, easy to get to the city center and very safe. It was super clean and offered a lot. The price was very reasonable.
Very modern, clean and comfortable! Staff was very friendly and helpful. 20 minute walk into city which was nice and easy for a day of sight seeing.
Very interesting hotel from the design and also concept point of view. Very different from the other 'normal' hotels. Clean, comfortable, ...., no problems. We enjoyed, I fully recommend and will stay again next time. I am a big fan of concepts that are trying to bring something new and different. This is such a concept and the result is perfect. Thumbs up! Everything worked perfectly, no complaints whatsoever.
Amazing design, new concept very close to European commission, parliament and metro. 7 mins to Center. Excellent bed and spacious room. Ability to pick snacks, plaqy pool, wii etc and get a decent drink all in one place
Very nice design and overall styling. Helpful personell and a very comfortable room. The information about the hotel on Booking.com is not correct. The phone number is wrong and it was very hard to find directions.
The appartments are very good located, very clean and have everything necessary for short or long term stay. Staff is helpful and friendly (although in Renessance Hotel nearby). Location is excellent, approximity to EC and Parliament, major shopping streets, excellent public transport The appartments might be comfortable and quite but our bedroom was just above the garage doors which were opening/closingthe whole night - we woke up everytime this happens. In my opinion management of the 5 star hotel should be aware of things like this and prevent renting such rooms. We stayed two night, otherwise we would heavily compalin. Please check location of the room before deciding to enter.
breakfast - great diversity, good cooking heating was not so great and the water was heated using a boiler :):):) come on...we had to take showers at 30 mins minimum distance or else...an icy shower :)
Wonderful, spacious and perferctly clean rooms, very well furnished, kitchen with all amenities, excellent position, extremely comfortable beds. I really appreciated the calm - nevertheless the hotel is in the city centre - and the direct access from the parking to the rooms, without having to pass through the reception every time. Perfect for business and family trips, especially for longer stays. Just one remark: in the parking, there are certain high sidewalks and level changes which are not painted and are hardly distinguishable from the pavement.
You are paying a room rate for a suite. Also is a quiet, safe zone of Brussels. the building is 1/2 block from the Renaisance where you make the check in and out. The building only have one person of staff from 8AM to 3PM.(and is out for lunch from 12- 1PM)and nobody on the weekends There is no breakfast in the building, only at the hotel
The overall standard was good. We requested adjacent rooms when we booked. It was so important to us that I telephoned the hotel 10 days before arrival to re(iterate this request and was assured that it was duly noted. We were meeting family for a weekend break - we live in different countries. With a small child we could only socialise with family in the evenings and use the baby monitor in adjacent rooms. We were not given adjacent rooms - the rooms were on different floors. Despite numerous requests and explanations the hotel refused to help. They were extremely unhelpful and made us wait almost 2 hours before they refused, yet again, to help. They told us that check in was busy so we'd have to wait! Even when we offered to pay a supplement to be moved into adjacent rooms they refused to help telling us that by now (2 hours after our initial request) the hotel was completely full! This meant that we were unable to spend evenings together - the whole point of the trip. The heating in our apartment did not work at all. It was very cold and we had to rely on plug in electric heaters which were hot and dangerous for our toddler. There was no kettle as advertised. Several light bulbs did not work. The remote control for the television in the bedroom did not work. The dishwasher was dangerous as it was not secured into position and , in fact, tipped up on 2 occasions.
Location is good. Very quiet area with excellent transport links to the city centre. Large appartment with good facilities. Needed to stay an additional night due to chaos with Eurostar. Staff were excellent in sorting out our needs and we stayed an extra night at the same discounted rate. Reception staff were always very helpful. The internal soundproofing could be better; a noisy family were in the appartment above and could be heard late into the night. Cleaning staff opened a window which was left open all day with temperatures at -10C! You breakfast in the Rennaisance hotel next door, and whilst breakfast is excellent, the staff are constantly hovering to take your plate away. Hint- take breakfast early as it gets very busy.
The location was excellent, and with weekend rates it was especially useful when needing to stay in Brussels between a Friday and Monday. Very spacious. The bathrooms could have been more updated, as they were rather stark and some fixtures were plastic.
the location and the size of the room the fire alarm started three times (we requested a smoking room) but we were not smoking; we called the receptionist and when the team arrived to find out what the problem is they insisted to open the window while we smoke (which we awas did) allthough we tried explaining that we weren't smoking (we just entered the room after being gone for 6 hours)
The apartment was spacious. Good furnishings. Excellent Breakfast. Got it for a very good price No Steam bath as advertised. Very limited staff.
Cleaness of the room, confort, facilities offered The reception desk was always very bussy and I have to queue many minutes to get served. The Hotel charged me a guarantee per night of stay although I payed the invoice on arrival. The room entrace key card was dezactivated often and I have to get to reception to get activated.
Size of room no tea or coffee in the room.
Excelent location, very clean appartments and service. It is very recommendable. It would be great to have breakfast at the hotel, and not a suggested cafeteria on the street.
lovely stay enjoyed brussels great place ......
It is not suitable for me to pay all the prise of hotel at ones, I would like to pay on the 3rd day of my staytment.
appartment style room, very spacious, separate bedroom, location
The room was well decorated with adequate furniture, close to the business district and train station. The charge for extra linen was 20 euros a day, which I thought was absurd, they also charged 20 euro a day for parking and 10 euros a day for internet. overall we could have stayed at a nearby hotel that included all of those things for less money than we spent.
The proximity to the EU institutions
The fact that it felt like a home and not a hotel room. It was spacious and clean near the places I need to be. I wish that the Pool was free, And if the instructions on useing the Washing machine were a little more clearer.
spacious room, excellent location
The opportunity to be in my own flat, with a separate bedroom and living room, and to prepare my own breakfast. Only the fact that the curtains in the living room did not cover the whole window.
