Staff Courtesy is good and location is very good. The cleanliness is not very good and do not give * feel. The Decor is good but get subdued due to lack of cleanliness.

Nothing. I was booked for 8 nights, but checked out after the first night. front desk was extremely rude... especially the manager on duty... I was booked for 8 nights, and from the website and based on the price I was paying, I was expecting a very decent 4 star hotel. I am sorry to say that by bangkok standards this hotel does not even qualify as a 3 star. The room was dirty and badly in need of a facelift...looked about 25 years old.. when I got to the room, the bell boy told me 3 times that more than 1 cup of tea per day is chargeable, and more than 2 bottles of water per day will be charged... ridiculous for the price was paying!! anyways, the reason I changed hotels after the very first night was that the windows were sealed and couldn't be opened. As I had asked for a smoking room, I expected that the aircon system was good enough to clear the air, but room was gas chamber

The hotel is close to a lot of club, bars, gogo-bars, market. but inside the hotel you are not beware of that, its quiet. If you want to take someone to your room, the hotel charge you 950 Bath

I did like the location and the breakfast. Staff were friendly, especially the reception staff was very helpful. I did not like the design of the room with air conditioning pointing to the bed. The bathroom sink was blocked. The floor of the room needs some renovation. Apart from these, the hotel facilities are good. Room service food was yummy. However, I would not use this hotel again due to its comfortness.

Great location and atmosphere. It´s in the middle of the city but the pool roof and garden lets you escape. When I arrived, there was confusion and then I was told by the check-in person that she had personally received my call 2 days prior cancelling my reservation. She said that I had given her my reservation number and that I said I needed to cancel due to air flight problems. This was not true. I had not called to cancel and no one else had my reservation number. They had made an error or were making up story. They were nice enough to let me stay in one of their suites that night and then found a hotel in the area for the rest of my stay. However, my trip was disrupted and I lost a good ½ day re-packing and then moving hotels. I´m not sure I would trust them again.

Ideally located to explore Bangkok, close to the skytrain. The staff at the reception could have been more helpfull.

The breakfast was exceptionally good for a hotel of this type with a wide range of fresh fruit as well as freshly prepared cooked food - excellent Thai style omlette! Poor room maintenance including a bath plug that didn't work and when reported was never fixed. The room rate is very variable so I cancelled a return visit (also booked through Booking.com) for four days later which was charged at twice the rate of my first visit

Only tea provided in room was Jasmine tea, most English prefer Breakfast tea

I have been staying at the Narai at least once a month for one or two days since year 2002, and find it convenient for me location and seervices are good. renovated recently give it a plus. only point to mention would be the shower heads need to be replaced by a classic shower head, sofiticated shower heads with various position is for sure get spoiled very fast as many guests play with them .the water mixer of the shower should have indication of hot or cold position,

Staff is really friendly. They have a lot of pride in the their hotel. Fitness is poor. Location is terrible - it's a place near a big market that smells like hell. Also its far away from everywhere. Rooms look old.

Hotel was OK. Clean and with a decent breakfast. Close to an ok area..(although the alley can be dodgy at night) only thing is when the A/C brake and i had to change room, but response was quick. nothing in particular.

Location - next to Silom road which is crowded during the day (shops, banks, etc..) Very old hotel. Visually (ugly), smell. A "real" Thai experience. No value for money.

It is set in a peaceful neighbourhood and the staff is generally courteous and obliging. All went well, except whilst booking the cab for my return trip to the airport, the hotel did not negotiate with the Thai can driver properly, and it resulted in me being charged an exorbitant rate. The hotel is also not really near the BTS. It is about 15 to 18 mins walk to Surasak BTS or about 2 blocks away.
