Asterias Beach Hotel

This was my second time at Asterias Beach! I love the location at Makronissos beach - one of the best in Cyprus. The biggest advantage is that the hotel have enough of comfortable, free of charge sunbeds and umbrellas right on their terrace by the pool, so there is no need to pay extra for all facilities on the beach (the hotel is right there, by the sea). The food is still very good, I was half board, so can't say anything about lunch but breakfast and dinner were pretty good. It is better to show up for dinner a bit later, closer to 8pm - so you don't end up queueing with your plate to get whatever it is you like as main course.

I think the rooms will need upgrade soon. Everything is kept pretty tidy, however some things in the bathroom are becoming outdated so refurbishment will be needed. It would also be nicer if toilets by the pool are kept in better condition. It is sometimes unpleasant to go there during the day, while the same areas inside the hotel are always tidy, and with pleasant aroma. I also wish the sheets are changed more frequently than once per two days.
