room was clean what is advertised on the website is not correct. there was no airconditioning and it was very hot, when we opened the window we were bitten by mosiquitoes and it was noisy. internet is only available when the cafe next to the hotel is open and it closes early. staff surly and unhelpful. do not stay here
It was close to the shops and convenient for the airport No Parking and breakfast was a very small snack
Central location Balcony never cleaned. Aircon switched off at 3am.
Central position, very good for communication both by foot, private and public trp. Poor choice of breakfast, very limited continental.
Proximity to centre of city and bus connection to the airport. Good clean comfortable accommodation. Would have liked a hairdrier but no complaints. Lack of hairdrier
Location, building, private, in general was fine. I am glad In the evening when I´ve asked to press my shirt or to get an iron - it was not possible
the hotel staff spoke English and helped in all matters. Clean room with balcony, in the heart of the city. Parking there.
The room was quite calm and it was very clean. Continental breakfast should be self service.
Good location Beakfast poor (coffee, orange juice and 1 cookie), the frame bed was squeaky so we had to remove it during the night and sleepin just on the matress on the floor.
Room was clean Poor facilites, air-con only worked during the day, cafe was only open until 2pm, staff were unhelpful (telling us to book our own taxi to the airport).
Room contained tv, air conditionair, hair dryer, little fridge. We got fresh towels every day. Right over our door was a little white box - I guess it's for safety reasons - that shined during the night and enlighted the room.
Loved the breakfast staff - really great customer service. Good food options. But the staff were amazing. The reception staff ( particularly the 2 young men ) were totally disinterested - in fact looked irritated by your presence. When we checked in if we hadnt already paid I would have turned around and walked out. The man behind the desk heard us come in but didnt turn around and continued to do whatever he was doing. Then he mumbled "hold on" then continued for about 5minutes to work on his papers before he looked and acknowledged our presence. It was so rude it was almost funny. This was continued each time we saw him and the other man and young woman ( she did try to smile though unlike the others ). Total contrast to the breakfast ladies. They should be on reception as the guys you have make a very poor impression for your business.
Very much clean and organized
It was close to the Railway Station No. All in all it was good and we will stay there again !!
Average hotel in the middle of the city. Good rooms. Parking distant and difficult to find.
Excellent value and a friendly hotel very close to the railway station.
Welcoming staff and good location for travelling
The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean and delicate. The Hotel is easy to find right next to the train station and the room was quiet. I left early and did not have time for breakfast. However the area where breakfast was served seemed nice. I enjoyed my stay.
Convenient location and fresh decor There was a stale smell( possibly of drains ) in the room
Very very nice and warm staff, Hotel Leuka would be my next choice in the future.
Located uptown, away from busy tourist aea.
its location no
Good location and a rather good price. A rather basic hotel. Typical three star. You don't get anything extra, just the bed and a bathroom. Nothing is bad but nothing is better than average either. You get a reasonable good hotel with clean rooms at a low price. Personally I prefer 4 star and up. This was the only available hotel when our flight was cancelled and we had to stay another 3 nights.
There was no air conditioning and I could here the man next door snoring all night. Once tax was added, one night in a single bed (double room - but two single beds with table in between) cost 50 Euros. In my opinion not worth the money.
the stuff were helpful. it is right at the centre.
The bathroom full size My money of 1,000 Euros was stolen by the hotel employee with her duplicate ley right from the safe deposit box in my room at the first 2 days of my stay. The manager Christina did not apologized, the reception staff made fun of this, the receptionist lied while interpreting to the policemen in my room. Obviously she stole the money herself. I had to write an official statement at the police station. Very humiliating experience. Never offered a insurance for the stolen money, shame. I moved out to the 2 star hotel nextdoors.
Central location We'd just left a 3 star hotel which was brilliant, so this was a shock to see so many differences here. No air conditioning, no power points available (except for shaver in bathroom) to even recharge mobile phone, wall paper thin, beds uncomfortable with thick plastic covers, tiny tv that only worked sometimes, decor/furnishings dull, uninvited guests in our room (killed one in the bathroom), so we were promptly moved to another room. Some advice...3 star rated hotels in Spain can vary a great deal, so do your homework.
friendliness of staff lack of tea/coffee making facilities in bedroom
the location to city center but not noisey, and the hotel staff were very friendly. n/a
This hotel is centrally located and competitively priced in comparison to similar hotels. Complete lack of customer care, ignorance of basic health and safety considerations,a management who will not make themselves available to deal with customer complaints, hotel staff who are openly hostile and completely unhelpful to guests.
Very friendly staff. Good location. Nice Caféteria on 1 floor. The room's really need some "refresh".... Very poor many things, even the bathroom.
Good location and very good staff
Hotel staff were friendly and efficient. Parking adjacent to hotel was ideal and handled very well by receptionists.
There was no smell of old smoke in the room which is something extraordinary in Spain Just a small detail. After cleaning on the 2nd day, found the few small items (eyepencil, mascara, lipbalsam I had left on the bed) thrown in pile on the table.
The hotel was in a good central location. Room was a little noisy as it was street facing.
very centrally located and the staff were very kind and helpful my hotel room was very small
The hotel was at a really good location in the heart of Alicante. It fulfilled everything that I expected, the room I got was big and with two beds although I only paid for a single room. The staff is really nice! Were ready to help with everything that i asked for. I will definetly go there again if I go back to Alicante one day. I would have like to have a balcony. And the cleaning ladies always came at noon, when I was asleep and never came back during the day.
Clean tidy value for money and central location. Second time here!
the good english speaking reception girl from norway little noiusey
nothing size and condition of the bathroom ceiling fan loose and in very bad condition, door to balcony in a very bad state
Very helpful staff, good breakfast. ~10 mins walk to the centre of town but very convienient for the tram (to beach). Quietish location.
The location was the best... close to the bus stop for the airport and to the city centre That it costs 4 euros for an hour to use the internet which is only situated in the foyer of the hotel........ they should have wi-fi....keep up with other hotels that supply this
The hotel staff was very polite and helpfull. Jesus, Jesus J and Juan: thank you ! Extremely noisy hotel, but ear plugs can fix this problem during the night.
24hours reception The receptionist tried to give as 2-bed room with a suplementary bed instead of 3-bed room which we had payed!!! We protested and got the "normal" 3-bed room... but what do you think of such a behaviour?
we have stayed at the goya hotel twice now ,and we have recommended it to our friends, which have used the hotel since then and they have the same opinions as us,to find somewhere to stay for value for money and the cleandliness etc of the hotel is excellent.
everything ,the food, the staff, cleandliness of the hotel.we have stayed at the goya hotel four times now and will be staying again .
There is no wifi and a lot of noise during the night.
Good location, friendly staff, nice bar and restaurant
Clean room, friendly staff and central location
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided us with a map and marked all the areas of interest for us. The otel is in a brilliant location - 5 mins walk to shopping, restaurants, bars and beach.
nothing size of the room was very tiny, small bathroom, the price paid for the Hotel room was overpriced,
The friendly cleaners. The balcony and view. The room. Solar heated water! Strange men in reception one night using laptop and there was no one at reception desk for 5 minutes, so I had to wait to get in. . No visible fire detectors/alarms.
Lovely room, spacious and lots of light Busy area of town
its central posistion
Decent hotel in good location. I was lucky enough to get a room with a balcony on the corner of the building - the view was cool. All in all I can recommend this place. Oh, one more thing - they have a beer vending machine in the lobby !
Very friendly and polite hotel staff (and they can also help you greatly for knowing around city), great location, nice rooms, comfortable. Excellent value for money!
Fantastic location. Close to everywhere in the city. Nice and helpful staff. Very noisy in the night. Street traffic, people comming back from parties etc...
central position; friendly staff
